We arrived at Oulton not having raced there for 6 x years, so needed to learn the layout. Also our first meeting on the new bike, handles were an issue which we sorted and made it possible to passenger it better.
Qualifying was red flagged for a hailstorm just as we were finding a rhythm. Qualified on the 12th row. First race was dry and finished 4th in class, took 22 seconds off our qualifying lap time in the race with our best lap time.
Saturday’s first race was a wet race and having changed our wet tyres progressed well and finished again 4th in class.
2nd race and we tried out the ‘tractor’ wet rear tyre and new front wet. The difference was amazing and ended the day with a 3rd in class.
Both happy with the results and looking forward to the next round.

After our aborted visit to Oulton last week we’ve decided to have a run out at Darley Moor on Sunday. This will be the first visit for us together at this circuit, hopefully it’ll be dry 👍

Not the ideal start to the season with the new engine installation not firing, hence we missed 2 x races Saturday whilst fixing the bike.
Got it sorted for today’s racing, in a good position in the first race till an oil leak caused us a DNF. 2nd race we finished 3rd in class so both very pleased and hope for more to come from the bike 😊

Home in time for a bit of Father’s Day time with my Family.
A somewhat frustrating weekend at Donnington, 1 x DNF & 1 x gifted 4th. Brake issues persist to hamper our progress.
Work will continue to improve the bike, hopefully in time for Brands GP.
