She's home and in good shape finishing 28th. Thanks to again, a great team supporting the drivers keeping them on the track. Despite a drive shaft issue, which took 30 minutes to be recovered, and a few minor bumps, a great 24 hours this year, well done everyone. šŸšŸš˜

Here we are at Silverstone with Haz_bin_racing MKII being prepared by for the 24 hour race tomorrow. New livery currently being put on, testing taking place and a line up of 4 experienced drivers. Co-owners John Gladman & Steve Glynn along with Mark Hopton in the current McLaren trophy and Mark McLoughlin from Greystone GT .

Sadly yesterday didnā€™t end as well as we would have liked. After an excellent stint by John, Steve took over to carry on the fun . Half an hour into Steveā€™s stint he was having a great battle in a small group, sadly the car behind him hit the car in the worst possible place on the circuit. This sent Steve straight into the barriers at about 90mph, the impact launching the car into the air.

Steve was assessed by the medical team at the circuit and is ok, very sore and stiff but never have we been more grateful for all his safety gear. The car, unfortunately, is extremely badly damaged, however Iā€™m sure with our great team at , the boys will be back out again very soon!

The standard of sportsmanship, and what is deemed to be acceptable driving on the track, is certainly coming into question. The racing series is meant to be a fun day out, when incidents like this happen, the conduct of drivers really needs to be addressed. Driving incidents do indeed happen but continuous incidents by the same offenders is unacceptable.

Pushing this aside, looking forward to the rest of the year.

The race started with John in the car in 23rd position, he brought the car in for a for a driver change in 11th position. Steve is now out for the send half of the race, a good day so far with not too much drama in the track.
