Vitesse Racing returns to Whilton Mill for Round 8 of the WMKC championship this weekend.

Whilton is a circuit that demands real commitment from drivers. The constant elevation changes and notoriously bumpy surface mean finding rhythm is never straightforward, and managing the kart across the lap becomes just as important as outright speed. Everything across Saturday builds towards today. The Finals across Mini Max, Junior Rotax and Senior Rotax decide the National Trophy winners and, with them, tickets to the RMC Grand Finals at Portimao. At Silverstone, against a national field, the standard of competition across all three classes will be high throughout.

The grid positions set today carry through into Sunday's Finals, making this a day where clean and consistent ex*****on across every session matters as much as outright pace. Vitesse Racing heads to Silverstone this weekend for the Rotax National Trophy.

The Rotax National Trophy is one of the standout events on the Rotax Max Challenge UK calendar. A single weekend at one of the most iconic venues in motorsport, with a strong national field across every class and a trophy that carries real weight in the Rotax community. The winners of each class earn a ticket to the RMC Grand Finals at Portimao, one of the most prestigious events in international karting.

Silverstone brings its own significance to any event held within its grounds. The circuit demands precision and commitment throughout, and competing here against a national field raises the level of every session from practice through to the Final.

British Kart Championship at Silverstone. Here is how the team got on.

Ralf Jüngling, KZ2, P3. Qualified P2 on Friday, recovered from a difficult pre-final to gain nine positions in the final and take a podium at the British Kart Championship.

Nathan Rond, Junior Rotax, Round 5 A Final. Fought through from P39 in the intermediate classification, drove to P6 in the B Final to earn A Final promotion, then gained eight positions in the A Final from P36 on the grid.

Nathan Rond, Junior Rotax, Round 6 A Final. P42 in the intermediate classification, P4 in the B Final to earn a second A Final start, then gained 12 positions from P35 to finish P23 in one of his best drives of the British KZ Championship season.
