26 days until Mega week in Alpe D'huez. Do we know anybody who's getting ready to go?

As a veteran of 4 trips to the Mega, I'd be honoured to chat to anyone who is set to race this year, and very happy to share any tips I may still have.

Whilst I love working on bikes, there's always some jobs you eagerly anticipate, and so today, the job I've been looking forward to all week has landed. The customer has taken the plunge and is replacing his chain rings with oval ones.

I'm a huge fan of oval rings, I've got them on all my bikes, and I'll talk your ear off at the drop of a hat about their many benefits.....I'm not saying I wore him down, let's prefer to say that my enthusiasm has spread?

This year marks the 10th anniversary of my JOGLE (John O'Groats to Lands End) adventure with some great friends and a good cause. We went self-supported, camping and towing a trailer full of our gear.

In the years since, I've helped prepare many other cyclists to make the same ride both in work to their bikes but also handy hints and tips.
