Happy Sunday, frenz 🐾💛
If you’ve been reading my newsletters, you’ll know I’ve been collecting towels for Freyja’s rescue organisation, Hungary Hearts. Since December we’ve collected 10 BLACK BAGS OF TOWELS!!!
YOU GUYS. Can you believe it?! 😭🙌
These have been so gratefully received by the poor doggies in shelters in Hungary. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know we fostered a dog just before Christmas (Millie), and she went to a stunning home in Southsea 🏡✨
And now… we’ve just collected another pup and traded in the last of the towels.
Bella, who is 10 months old, is learning quickly: sit, no, down, don’t chew that, what is that in your mouth, don’t chew that, get down, good girl… WHAT A GOOD GIRL! 😅🐶
She’s going to make a family so happy. Super cute, loads of fun, bundles of energy… and yes, I’m a bit tired 😴💙
Bella (marble) and Millie (blonde) 🐕🐕
I really thought I’d never be able to foster. The last time we tried, we failed almost instantly. But Suki has many, many issues, and in hindsight, she would have been one of those dogs passed around, never really settling. She’s actually fine here, even though she’s basically a little troll who growls at everything 👹😂
Letting go is hard. But the art of letting go is best practised regularly. I’m teaching myself that letting go doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing 🤍
I keep reminding myself why. There is always a greater good. There is always someone to help. And while I can’t change the world… I can change the world for someone, 2 legged or 4 legged, who deserves a chance 🌍🐾✨
