Tottonians C**ts got their season started with a competitive clash against Wimborne and performed admirably in being defeated by the Dorset side 35-5 - George Havelock scoring Totts' try.

𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃-𝐔𝐏
Tottonians kicked off 2026/27 with a pre-season double-header at Oxford Quins on Saturday - returning home with a win and a defeat, but, more importantly, minutes in the legs and plenty of encouragement.
The 1st XV result was a 36-28 defeat but they held the Regional 1 Midlands outfit for 70 minutes before conceding twice late on. A double for player of the match debutant Balazs Magda led the way as the visitors were 28-17 ahead coming into the final quarter. Dylan Kirk and Harry Dolbear also posted scores.
The 2nd XV did return a victory beating Quins' 2nd string that play in Counties 1 Southern North. A brace for another debutant Cameron Findlay plus three conversions and a penalty guided the side to a comfortable win with player of the match Mason Beech, Seb Davis-Smith, Ryan Martin and Alex Robinson also crossing for tries.
We thank Oxford Harlequins for their excellent hospitality and wish them all the very best for the season ahead.

𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐚𝐭 𝐎𝐗𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍(𝐬)
But it is not about the results - its about the performance and Tottonians can come away from their trip to Oxford Harlequins with plenty of positives despite the 1st XV going down in the last 10 minutes to a strong home side but the 2nd XV can be rightly proud of their 39-33 win over the hosts' 2nd XV.

Here we go then! The first weekend of September = the first weekend of rugby!
The 1st and 2nd XVs travel up the A34 to for a double header friendly while the 3rd XV have an inter-club session at Water Lane from 11.30am.

𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐒 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃!
The teams have been announced for Saturday's trip to with a number of new signings featuring for the first time across both teams.
Newcomers Harry Osman, Scott Derrington, Ethan Burt and Balazs Magda all feature in the 1st XVs 21-player squad as does talented former C**t Charlie Hildon and another fresh face in Max Cannon.
The 2nd XVs 20-player squad for their 2pm kick-off sees Sam Luke and Cam Findlay both included and starting for the first time for the Josh Andrews-led outfit. Some familiar names also step up looking to press for a place come league season start on the 26th.

The first full weekend of rugby is here ... and there is plenty to get stuck into!
On Saturday - the 1st and 2nd XVs hit the road up the A34 to face Oxford Quins in a double header set of friendlies, kicking off at 2pm and 4pm.
The 3rd XV have an inter-club session starting at 11.30am at Water Lane.
On Sunday - the C**ts get their first outing as they welcome Wimborne for a home friendly, kicking off at 2pm.
The bar will be open, as will our brand new club shop.
RUGBY IS BACK, BABY!!!!!!!

The kids are back to school and they need to run off some excess first-week energy? Mini and junior rugby returns to Tottonians Rugby Club after the summer break and ALL are welcome! It all kicks off on Sunday 6th September from 9.30am - just come along, no need to book or register in advance.
Girls aged between 3 and 11 - we have rugby for you to take part in, from Totts Tots (age 3 to 5) to Mini rugby (age 6 to 11). We welcome and encourage all abilities.
For the boys aged between 3 and 18, we have a team for you. From Totts Tots (age 3 to 5), Mini Rugby (age 6 to 11), Junior Rugby (from 12 to 16) and our highly successful C**ts (age 16 to 18), again, all abilities from starter to regular, we are here for you!
Fun, welcoming, engaging and make friends for life at our family-centric environment where everyone is part of the Tottonians Rugby family. Qualified, experienced coaches and organisers - it's a game for all.
