An update from Pinky Paddles SUP / SUP Racing / Paddleboarder UK Based on completion of her first SUP 11-City Tour ! 220km endurance race in The Netherlands. Which she used the 2026 All Star 14 x 23"
"I can't believe I did it! I hope this inspires others. I started paddling 4 years ago and racing from April 2023. I was averaging 4-5 km/h for a very long time lol. But each year I'm gaining speed, strength and technique. Despite my various ailments and previous injuries I've battled on. And I love how paddling gives so much opportunity for growth mentally and physically.
Since I started racing I had my goal set on this event. It's the toughest race I've done yet.
The latest All Star is in my opinion the best version that's been produced. Things I love about it:
- The lower volume in the nose and thinner profile makes it a dream for a petite paddler like me to control in big side winds!
- Easier to carry! I'm 5ft 1 and the way the rails have been lowered towards the back make it not only easier to carry but also I can now get back on board from the side. The previous dug out versions I would most of the time have to get on from the back.
- I personally found an improvement in rail steering. I've found it to be much more responsive.
- 23" wide feels even more stable. I actually feel like I could even paddle the width down!
- I really love the new hybrid dugout design. I def feel a difference in turning and downwind.
