The first Pump n Paddle of the season delivered a fantastic day of racing, wonderfully hosted by Burton Sailing Club!

It almost felt like a Starboard riders gathering, with so many All Star and Sprint Airline boards on the water, along with a several Starboard SUP Touring boards battling it out in the technical, distance and sprint disciplines.

Great effort by all who made this awesome event happen and to Drift Boardsports for running demos all day long in the warm sunshine. Fingers crossed for more events like this through the summer!

Don't forget all the GBSUP National Series events feature the AIRLINE CUP, where riders can compete against all other inflatables and simultaneously get a ranking within the Starboard Airline category.

Demo season in full swing at today and the forecast rain held off nearly all day allowing great demo conditions.

All Star Airlines plus the Gen R raceboards were used to good effect, plus 14’ x 28” Touring well liked too. We even saw plenty of testing of the surf SUPs despite the flat water location, with paddlers testing the Longboards and Twin Fins for stability. Thanks for hosting and good to catch up with and 🙌🏻🏄🏼‍♀️

Racing, demos and a whole weekend of SUP activity kicking off at Llandegfedd Reservoir. Dry, light wind conditions greet us and lots of excited paddlers are about to take part in the distance race!

Lots of Starboards about to hit the water, including the race legends All Star and Sprint Airline boards for the Airline Cup race series 🏆

All action SUP racing Saturday and Sunday with distance race and Aquapaddle on Saturday, plus tech and sprints on Sunday. Bumper weekend of racing, including AIRLINE CUP plus kit demos all weekend 😎

has to be one of the world’s largest inflatable-only events, a SUP race and tour, 40km from Nottingham to Newark on the River Trent. Multiple portages present additional challenges in an event attracting over 300 paddlers to literally Race to the Castle, finishing adjacent to historic Newark Castle.

All three podium places in the men’s 14’ fleet went to paddlers on Starboard Airline boards, with Ben Burley securing an awesome 3rd on his All Star, with PJ Simmons taking the win, holding off a strong challenge from Patrick McCormack (both of whom chose the flat-water specialist Sprint boards)

Well done to everyone who completed the RTTC challenge, an incredible event for racers and adventure paddlers alike. Sunday brought further good weather and an opportunity for some really successful demos with and
