As the nights are drawing in, we agree that cycling in the dark is not for everyone! 3 delicious rides running led by our fab volunteer ride leaders. Next month, we’ll be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! As part of our celebrations, the Totnes Cinema are showing thefastestbicyclefilm on September 21st.

The Fastest Bicycle tells the amazing story of Sir Roger Bannister’s grandson Barney Townsend and his team’s attempt at the World Human Powered Vehicle land speed record at Battle Mountain Nevada which stands at an eye watering 89.5 mph.

The screening will feature an introduction from director Michael B.Clifford and a Q&A following the film with the team from The Bike Hub.

Our weekly volunteer day is on every Monday from 10-4, all throughout the summer months.
Volunteers learn how to refurbish donated bikes, using either second hand parts or new, and we then sell or donate the bikes.
If you’ve an interest in bikes, learning bike mechanics and meeting others, then come and give it a try!
