Merry Christmas to all Club Members and followers🎄

Come and join us for the final Thursday night of the year, this week the 18th December. Fun and games are planned.

The club will return in the New Year on Thursday 8th January. We look forward to seeing returning and new members in 2026 🥳

How have you been spending your summer??

Club member and teacher Ben has spent the last week racing at the World Masters Championships in Singapore.

Carrying on from a great 2025 so far, Ben put in 5 incredible performances to come away with:
3 Medals 🥇 🥈🥈 in the backstroke events and 2 British Records 🇬🇧🇬🇧 in the 100 back and 200 IM.

Congratulations to him 👏👏

He will be back poolside the first Thursday in September, we look forward to seeing you all then.

Another Great Weekend of Swimming at the Welsh Masters!! (RECORD WATCH)

Ben and Gordon travelled to Swansea for the Welsh long course masters championships.

Gordon raced in the freestyle events picking up 3 silvers and a bronze.

Ben continuing his record breaking form from the Welsh Short course masters, raced his way to four gold medals, three of his swims included smashing the British Records for the 50,100 and 200 Backstrokes. This was topped off by the 50 also being a New European Record.

Swimmer of the day!!
At the Royal Navy Masters in Millfield Totnes member Bill Letch, racing in his first year in the 85-89yrs age group, smashed three new British Records. They came in the 50/100 freestyle and 50 Fly.

Club Masters Swimmer and Volunteer Teacher on our club nights Ben Winter this weekend broke his first British Record in the 55-59yrs 200 Backstroke at the Welsh Masters in Llandudno, taking over three seconds off the previous record.

What a way to finish a great year of racing.

For anyone who has been swimming in the 7-8.30pm group over summer, there is no swimming tonight due to the pool being forced to close.

That’s a wrap!!

After 8 days of racing at the European Masters in Serbia, Totnes Swimming Club once again has its own European Champions!!

Simon picked up a full collection of 🥇🥈🥉 along with a 4th and a 5th place in his five events in his age group.

Kalon won 2x🥇 and a 🥈 in the backstroke events, being the fastest 100m backstroker at the event. Also with 4ths in his other events.

Totnes swimmers Kalon and Simon Veale have traveled to Belgrade to take compete in the European masters championships over the next 7 days.
