Our Rounders teams have been in action this term and have been super in all of their league games 👌🏼

Year 7- Champions 🏆 (undefeated)
Year 8- 5th place
Year 9 - Runners up🥈 (only losing to overall champions)
Year 10 Champions 🏆

Huge congratulations to Ronnie W. in Year 7 who competed at the Devon Schools Athletics Championships on Saturday, representing North Devon.

Ronnie finished 2nd in the Long Jump, achieving a new PB of 4.48m. He also competed in the 200m where he came 3rd.

Well done Ronnie on some brilliant results! 👏💪

So close but not to be!

Sadly GTS were knocked out of the Stokes Knight Cup today. A spirited performance by both teams left the scores tied on 82. A super over needed to decide it!

Sadly we lost in the super over but what a cracking game of cricket and some brilliant performances from the boys some of whom were playing their first hard ball game!

Good luck to QE (Crediton) in the next round.

On the 13th May, GTS pupils took part in the North Devon Schools Athletics Championships. During the event Eben B in Year 8 (200m) and Ronnie W in Year 7 (200m & Long Jump) both produced performances that resulted in them being selected to represent North Devon at the Devon Schools Athletics Championships on the 13th June at Exeter.
Well done to all of the GTS athletics team and huge congratulations to Ronnie and Eben.

Congratulations to the U15 Cricket team narrowly pipping Park to the post tonight in the Stokes-Knight Cup. Some excellent cricket from both sides in a match that yo-yo’d too and fro the entire match and went down to the final ball! Commiserations to Park who played excellently and contributed to a thrilling match for the neutral.

5 debutants to hardball cricket and some old heads to steady the ship. Great performances with bat and ball all round. On to the next round 👍
