Meet Kate - One of the strongest women we know - both physically and mentally.
Pregnancy is one of the most physically demanding things a woman’s body can do.
And yet, for years, women were told to slow down, do less, and avoid lifting weights altogether.
Thankfully, the science tells a very different story.
As long as there are no medical issues and each session is carefully planned and adapted, strength training during pregnancy is not only safe, it’s incredibly beneficial for both mum and baby.
Research has shown that regular strength and resistance training during pregnancy can help:
✨ Reduce back pain and pregnancy-related aches
✨ Improve posture and movement quality
✨ Lower the risk of gestational diabetes
✨ Improve mood and energy levels
But the benefits don’t stop there.
Women who remain physically active throughout pregnancy often experience:
🤍 Improved stamina and endurance
🤍 Faster recovery postpartum
🤍 Greater confidence in their changing body
🤍 An easier return to ‘normal life’ after birth
And for baby?
Research suggests maternal exercise may support healthy birth weights, cardiovascular health and even positive long-term metabolic outcomes.
Watching Kate continue to train throughout her pregnancy has been truly inspiring.
Not because she’s chasing PBs - Kate has ALWAYS been INCREDIBLY strong.
Not because she’s trying to “bounce back.”
But because she’s choosing to invest in their health, her strength, and their future.
Pregnancy is a season of incredible adaptation.
The female body doesn’t become fragile during this time.
It becomes extraordinary.
Strong enough to grow and nourish a human.
Strong enough to bring a human into the world.
Kate, we love you and we cannot wait to cuddle our newest member!
