🚶‍♂️👟 𝚃𝙸𝙲𝚂 𝟼𝟾 𝙼𝙸𝙻𝙴 𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙻𝙻𝙴𝙽𝙶𝙴 👟🚶‍♂️

On Friday 19th June, Dan Williams, Nick Blackhurst, Dan Taylor, Steve Smith and Aaron Graham will be taking on a pretty brutal charity challenge – hiking 110km (68 miles) across Devon in 24 hours!

The group will be setting off from Westward Ho! at 5pm on the Friday and aiming to finish on Paignton seafront the following day. No sleep, no stopping – just putting one foot in front of the other, including a night crossing of Dartmoor 🌛

Dan said "We're doing this to raise money for The Devon Clinic, a South Devon mental health charity that provides affordable counselling and support for people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic abuse and PTSD, including ex-service personnel. It's going to be a huge test, but it's all for a fantastic cause.

Tics' Matt Ellis-Hawkins hit the pitch with his England Deaf team mates yesterday, in their first ever 7s tournament. Here is what he had to say...

"This was the first outing for England Deaf 7’s. We played in the men’s elite round-robin against established 7’s series teams.

We had 5 games across the course of the day starting at 10:20 and finishing with our last game at 15:00. It was an absolutely electric experience and I can’t wait to get back involved into the 7’s circuit.

🏉🏆 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗙𝗨 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 🏆🏉 A bit strange posting about myself but here goes...

This afternoon, yours truly and Mr Bennett attended the Devon RFU Volunteer Awards at Exeter Athletic RFC. Following the presentation, we all headed outside to watch Devon Deaf Men v Wales Deaf Men.

A big thank you from us to the club for the nomination as part of the 'Unsung Heroes' category, and a big thank you to all volunteers at TARFC! 🏉👏🏼 We were proud to be able to go and represent the amazing volunteering going on here at Torquay!

Today, 3 of our women players took part in their first 7s tournament with White Hart Marauders Rugby 7s!

A big well done to Sophie Rowe, Leah Hackman and Maya Hanauer 👏🏼 We heard it was very hot 🥵 but our girls played brilliantly!
