🌟🍴 A Huge Thank You to Thermomix! 🍴🌟

We were delighted to welcome Ivana Hojna from Thermomix UK and Ireland to the club for another fantastic Thermomix cooking demonstration yesterday. 👩‍🍳✨

Members enjoyed watching Ivana prepare a selection of delicious recipes, including freshly baked onion focaccia, healthy date and fig snacks, and refreshing fresh lemonade – all made quickly and effortlessly using the Thermomix.

We were also incredibly grateful to receive the gift of a Thermomix for the club, which was presented to our Head Chef, Boyd. 🎁

A big thank you to Ivana Hojna for sharing her expertise, enthusiasm and wonderful food with us. We truly appreciate her generosity and continued support.

🏌️‍♂️⛳ Devon Junior Club Team Championship ⛳🏌️‍♀️

Torquay Golf Club was delighted to once again host the Devon Junior Club Team Championship, with Devon Golf praising both the condition of the course and the smooth running of the event.

A huge thank you goes to our greenkeeping team for presenting the course in such a fantastic condition, and to Howard Carter, Linda Green, Celia Marshall and all the hospitality staff that made the day such a success.

Special thanks also to our Junior Organiser, George Kasparis for supporting players and visitors alike.

Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of our three Torquay junior teams, who represented the club superbly with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship and commitment throughout the day. You are a credit to Torquay Golf Club. 👏💙🤍

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Jake from Devon Garden Machinery DGM for delivering an excellent unit grinding workshop this morning.
Continuous learning is an important part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards, and today's session provided valuable insight into the correct maintenance and setup of our equipment.
The knowledge gained will help our greenkeeping team keep machinery performing at its best, ensuring our equipment remains in optimum condition and capable of delivering consistent, high-quality results every day.

🏌️‍♂️⛳️ B TEAM RESULT ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

A tough day for Team Torquay in yesterday's away fixture against Dainton, with the match ending in a 6–1 defeat.

Despite the result, it was a closely contested encounter with several matches going right down to the 18th hole, showing great determination and fighting spirit from the team throughout. 👏

Congratulations to Dave Burckett, who was deservedly awarded Man of the Match for his excellent performance. 🌟

Well played to everyone involved, and we look forward to bouncing back in the next fixture
