Well done to the boys today worked hard, after giving away a goal in the first half. the boys just could not get the ball in the back of the net with so many shoots on target.

Dawid
Due to sickness this week Dawid stepped into a role he has not played right centre back. He took in everything that the coaches asked of him and put in a strong performance.

Players of the Match
Jude & Alex 🔑

We started very strong, won the ball from them pretty quickly and we played with a fast pace, passing, moving & playing through balls. We kept up the fast pace closing them down not being afraid to tackle or be first to the ball. We scored our first goal with a pass from Riley into Jude where he got his shot off into the bottom corner.

Unfortunately we switched off just after our first goal, and we let them get back into the game to make it 1-1. Our second goal came from a throw-in from Jude which Theo flicked onto Max, passing it to Alex who then hit it across the keeper into the opposite side of the goal.

We went into half time 2-1 up.

Second half.

We started the half strong with some lovely passing and moving as well as some great tackles, fighting for the ball at every opportunity.

Oscar took a shot from range that hit the crossbar which then dropped to Jack, he played it to Jude who caught it on the half volley to make it 3.

Jude then received the ball from Theo and finished it under the keeper to grab his 3rd and complete his hat trick.

Jude wasn’t done there though. Noah gets the ball and sets Jude up nicely to get his fourth of the morning and what a day for him.

Brilliant game from the whole squad today. Let’s take this performance into our next match and the rest of the season.
