🏏 💪🏻 R I V I E R A C R I C K E T W I N T E R A C A D E M Y 💪🏻 🏏

Our athletes have been tiring up the heat this week just gone with their cricket skills! Working hard on the weight transfer when batting and some fundamentals with their fielding!

Our older lot went through their paces with some batting drills before applying it into the nets.

We’re back again this weekend and aiming to put these skills into practise with some indoor games and applying some of that game pressure!

💪🏻🏏🌟 WINTER ACADEMY - SESSION 5 🌟🏏💪🏻

Another great week from everyone at Riviera Cricket Academy!

Both our juniors and seniors took part in a game situation, were they challenged one another with their batting and bowling skills.

We couldn’t believe the progression from our juniors, being able to bowl to one another with such accuracy and tactics!

The seniors played their own indoor league game which went down to the last ball! All the athletes involved too the game extremely seriously and showed off why they’re a force to be reckoned with season!

🏏 💪🏻 R I V I E R A C R I C K E T W I N T E R A C A D E M Y - S E S S I O N 5 💪🏻 🏏

Another seriously intense week for our athletes! We put the through their paces with their fielding skills with high intensity cut to get our diving catches and throws locked in!

We also played some games of bowling naughts and crosses, this really tested our patience and made sure we put everything we have practised, into a game scenario!

Our older sessions worked hard with their fielding all before hitting the nets with some 1:1 catching to iron out those little tweaks.

Half way through our winter academy and the progress is astonishing! Keep it up Riviera!

🏏 W I N T E R A C A D E M Y - W E E K 3 🏏

Week 3 and we are seeing so much improvement from everyone already! A high intensity fielding drill for some fitness and accuracy under pressure followed by some bowling drills and a game targeting the offside for our soft ballers! #

Our hardball athletes warmed up with some power slams before hitting the nets focusing on line and length with consequences! We then introduced some batters and this net was purposeful and made all our bowlers hitting their spots, the batters benefited hugely from this too with some testing deliveries to see off.
