Great session with Sensei Frank Brennan with good friends as well.

Brilliant training and grading session with Sensei F Brennan yesterday.

A detailed session focusing on kata Gankaku for the black belts. Remember to practice the kata over the following week as Sensei mentioned.

Congratulations to all those students taking your grading. Very strong attitude 💪

Sensei Dan doing slowed down Kihon Kata on the beach with a little help from Sensei Gunner…

Little work on the turns to the right as well as a few head and hip turns, but the weight transference looks good to us….

Practice makes perfect right…

Sensei Dan making the most of the fine weather recently as well as the break in work with help from Sensei Gunner.

This is the ideal amount of water to train in for Sensei Dan as finds its great resistance for the ankles and helps with the bio mechanics.

The emphasis isn’t on raising the knee straight up but more on the push up from the ground and keeping the ankle parallel and straight as well as keeping the weight forward to to the front in stance, a important point sometimes missed..

Massive well done to our first graded student on his grading tonight.

Really got stuck into the training and grading and smashed it all..

Massive thanks to Sensei Trevor Jarrett for coming down and pushing us all through an excellent training session before taking the grading…

Many thanks to Sensei’s Valerie Jarrett, Kevin Berry and Marianne Fox for coming over for support as well..

9th Kyu gained… onwards and upwards now..
