Hi everyone.

Hope all are well and enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend.

REMINDER there is NO training tomorrow (MONDAY 31/8) due to the Bank Holiday.

Also we have news... WE HAVE MOVED...

As of Monday the 7th September, we shall now be training at the Dorothy Holman Community Centre on Ferry Road, Topsham EX3 0JW with a NEW training time of 6.30PM - 8PM..

Enjoy the bank holiday and we look forward to seeing everyone at the new training venue.

Perfect example of how bad habits can form in Kata if we stick to the rigid way of practising.

Notice Sensei Kagawa making the point of the pause with the arms in the air as opposed to the arms ‘following’ the turn and maximising the energy and momentum generated..

Some great Kata Application ideas shown by Sensei Guy Brodeur, someone Sensei Dan has really enjoyed training with over the years.

Sensei Dan is looking to starting classes soon that will teach sequences from various Kata's, before bringing in applications that could help them work in a application, to give Students ideas and confidence 'Outside', using seminars like this one as inspiration.

These classes will be a 6-8 week course held locally.
