A Big Thank You to Barry 💙

After many wonderful years at Airfield Swim Academy, it is time for us to say goodbye to Barry as he begins a new chapter closer to home in his new role as a bus driver.

Barry has been an incredible part of our team and has made a huge impact on so many swimmers over the years. From our tots classes to children’s lessons and Adults too! — Barry has always brought patience, encouragement & his knowledge to every lesson.

Teaching someone to swim, is giving them a skill that lasts a lifetime, and Barry has played a huge role in helping hundreds of people gain that confidence and ability.

While we will miss him greatly around the pool, we are incredibly grateful for everything he has done for Airfield and all of our swimmers.

🚨 May dates are now live to book 🚨

Hi Everyone, the May dates and times for private pool hire are available to book through the link below 🤗.

Please select the date & time that suits you and enter your details to confirm your booking! We will then be in touch in the lead up to your slot.

We hope to update this every month.

As you may already know, we offer pool hire in 45mins slots on selected Sundays. This is for up to 12 people in the pool ( under 4’s must be accompanied by an adult).

Make full use of our heated pool along with the toys, beach balls and floats etc.
Fully qualified lifeguard on duty.

This will be booked ONLY through the link and on a first come first serve basis. Total cost is £90 (£10 non refundable deposit with the remaining £80 to be paid on the day)

We are pleased to open our waiting list for our TOTS 1 classes 🙌 👶.

Tots 1 is a parent/guardian and child class for babies that are 3months to 15months old.
These classes have been designed to build water confidence in an aquatic environment by making swimming lessons safe and fun 🤩

• Assisted submersion and basic breath control (holding breath).
•Assisted flotation, rotation and leg kick.
•Assisted jumping in the pool.
•Adapting to the water environment and discovering movement in water, balance and co-ordination.

Bookings are made over an 8 week block (8x30min sessions) over consecutive weeks.

Cost for the block is £104 which is taken at the point of booking.

Our next block will begin w/c 4th May 2026

Your child must be at least 3 months old at the start of the block.

🐣 Easter Holidays 🐣

Just a quick reminder that our pool will be closed for the Easter holidays from Saturday 4th April to Friday 10th April (inclusive).

All lessons will resume as normal from Saturday 11th April.

We hope everyone has a fantastic Easter and we look forward to welcoming you back in the pool after the break 🐣🍫

All lessons paused Tuesday 17th March for St Patrick’s day ☘️ with the exception of our Tots 1 classes which will run as normal.

1:1 Private Swim Slots Available 🏊‍♀️

We currently have TWO private 1:1 slots available:

Wednesday 10.00–10.30am OR
Wednesday 11.30am–12.00pm

£120 for 4 x 30-minute sessions (consecutive weeks)

These are the ONLY slots available right now – all other times have active waiting lists.

Our 1:1 private sessions run during:
• Monday: 11am–2pm
• Tuesday: 12pm–1pm
• Wednesday: 9.30am–2pm
• Thursday: 12.30pm–2pm
