🔵 Thursday Night Warriors — What a Session

Despite the drizzle, the Warriors turned up in force this week — 24 lads, split into 4 sharp teams, and the energy was unreal.

We kicked off with a 10‑minute warm‑up, rolled straight into 20 minutes of drills, then hit three competitive games before finishing with a full‑throttle 11 v 11 that had everyone grafting, laughing, and loving it.

This is what we’re about: numbers growing, standards rising, and a club where everyone — new or returning — gets stuck in and feels part of something.

Coalfields Cup Round‑Up
A huge well done to our Cambrian United Warriors 50s and 60s squads after a big day at the Coalfields Cup.Our 50s put in a fantastic shift — 7th out of 14 teams, with 2 wins, 3 draws and just 1 loss. Great football, great attitude, and a performance to be proud of.Our 60s had a tougher day, but the effort, spirit and togetherness never dropped. That resilience is what makes this club special.And a massive thank you to the lads who came along to support — your backing on the sidelines means everything. Days like this show the strength of the Warriors family on and off the pitch.Plenty of positives, plenty learned, and plenty to build on.
We keep growing, we keep improving, and we keep doing it together.

A big well done to the Cambrian United Hot Steppers who won the ladies event. 👍⚽️🎉👏🫶

Thursday Session + Weekend Ahead
Another brilliant turnout for the Cambrian United Warriors on Thursday 4th June — 22 lads and 1 helper putting in the work.We kicked off with a 10‑minute warm‑up, moved into 20 minutes of drills, then split into four roll‑on roll‑off teams for back‑to‑back 15‑minute games right through to 9pm.
Finished the night with a bit of penalty practice, then headed to the cabin for a well‑earned pint and plenty of laughs.Sessions like this show exactly what we’re about — football, fitness, friendship, and a proper community feel.And there’s always room for more.You can join us at:

Our club is built on community, and we need your help to keep it looking its best.

Join us on Saturday 13th of June at 10am for a club-wide volunteer day.

Whether you can spare an hour or stay all day, every helping hand makes a difference.

Tasks include ground clean-up, painting, facility maintenance, light repairs and general improvements around the club.

Coalfields Classic 2026 AnnouncementThe Cambrian United Warriors Walking Football family is heading to the Coalfields Classic 2026 at USW on June 7th — with both our 50s and 60s squads ready to represent.This tournament means a lot to us.
It celebrates the coalfield communities we come from, the history we carry, and the spirit we play with every week. Our lads have worked hard, built something special together, and they’re proud to pull on the badge for one of Wales’ biggest walking football events.Great football, great people, great heritage — exactly what the Warriors are all about.More than anything, it shows what being part of this club offers:
