So I’ve been playing around with an issue for a while now.
How to fit a 2.5m spear in a less than 2.5m vehicle. Or how to take said spear onto public transport without getting weird looks and equally not get questioned by the nice ppl in uniforms as to why I have a spear in public….
So, to that end, NEW to Chronocide is the deconstruct-able spear connector.
Made from lightweight but tough aluminium for retaining strength but not dramatically adding weight.
Screw together connection to prevent unwanted disassembly.
Fits a standard 28mm diameter pole for ease of replacement to wooden parts.
Also because we know you will want to use it immediately for WolfHunt we have made sure to have it already set up with a pole (Leekes), foot (unbranded) and head (Cap-a-pie) so it’s ready to go for this event.
Which some of the more keen eyed and inquisitive of you have noticed and requested more info on but publicly and privately. Thank you for being so keen.
Assembled length 2.5m
Un-assembled 1.2m and 1.3m halves
Which will fit in most standard kit bags you would expect a Longsword to fit in.
Now 2.5m is just the length we chose but obviously you could make a 1.8m spear into two 0.9m easily transportable lengths.
Or if you have the room a 5m pike into two 2.5m less easily transportable lengths but it’s a lot easier to get a van to fit that than a 5m one 🤣
The point is whatever your preference, your choice of length, your chosen head, foot cap or not. You can choose to make it your own however you want.
