🐴 Could a round pen help more people get involved with horses?
We’re exploring installing a round pen at TDS — a safe, enclosed space for both riding and non-ridden activities such as grooming, horse care, leading and groundwork.
It could provide a quieter, supportive environment for one-to-one or small-group sessions, helping people build skills, confidence and physical activity around horses.
💭 But we want YOUR thoughts!
Have you ever wanted to get involved with horses but felt put off or unsure where to start?
What barriers might stop someone from taking part — cost, confidence, fitness, weight, anxiety, additional needs, or simply not feeling that riding is for them?
