Thanks to everyone that made this week possible, we had so much fun as usual. Tried a range of different sports, wonderful meals and good to see new and old faces mix. Couldn’t do it without Stones In The Community, the best people we could work with. Been brilliant to have new staff and work with Tonbridge Amateur Boxing Club. Overall, October HAF was a success. Despite challenging weather conditions today, the dedication from everyone who attended was outstanding.

We were privileged to host Omari Caro, who delivered an exceptional training session. Omari brings a wealth of elite-level experience, having played professionally for top clubs like Bradford Bulls, Harlequins / London Broncos, and Hull KR, as well as representing Jamaica in both Rugby League and Sevens. He currently applies his extensive expertise as a high-performance coach at Sevenoaks School and across various other programs.

The group showed incredible focus and adaptability, quickly taking on board new concepts and fresh perspectives. It was brilliant to see everyone step up, embrace the challenge, and put the learning straight into practice.

Looking forward to day 3 today, and seeing more improvements. It would be easy to just play a Football match all day; we wouldn’t get any complaints but the young people wouldn’t learn new things or get out their comfort zone. Really impressed by the group we have had this week, everyone has given it a go.

Today we have Rugby, Football and some Kin Ball!

Only the second day with Ant from Tonbridge Amateur Boxing Club and you can already see a difference in all the kids movement and understanding. Excellent coaching and something that is such a great skill.

There are kids sessions on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5.30 till 7. This only costs a fiver and is pay on the day, as and when.

I can’t speak highly enough of Ant from Tonbridge Amateur Boxing Club and his coaching ability.

Today he ran a session with a whole range of kids, from complete beginners through to those with previous experience, and made it genuinely accessible and welcoming for everyone.

He communicates clearly, brings brilliant knowledge and fresh ideas to his sessions, and above all, his passion for boxing really shines through. It is clear how much he loves the sport and how dedicated he is to sharing it with young people. Highly recommend his sessions, with all their classes up on their socials. Top man.
