We are in the process of application for Kent HAF running throughout 2026 holidays, which we are very excited to hopefully be a part of again!

Happy New Year to all the families and children we have worked with in 2025. We had a great year delivering in 3 different holidays and can’t wait to be back in 2026. Your support has meant a lot! Have a wonderful time with your loved ones.

Had a positive meeting with Kent HAF yesterday and they let us know the tender is reopening in February. We will put our best foot forward and fight to be back running with HAF from April onwards. It’s a shame about this Christmas but we will be back and working with you all in 2026!

Hello everyone,

It’s with great sadness that we need to announce we will not be running over this Christmas period and there is potential we will not run with HAF in 2026.

After a wonderful year working with The Education People, the application for HAF was handed over to Kent County Council. We found this experience very difficult and the procurement for HAF was unsuccessful even after running and filling over 400 places for HAF in 2024/25.

We know that many SEN children cannot access any other camps and we are the only in the area offering what we offer.

If any of you feel the same it would help us in echoing our complaints by emailing Kent Council, The Education People and even local MP (Tom Tugenhat)

We know how important it is to run again this year for many families and will push for KCC to reopen HAF applications so we can simply put our case forward. We were only unsuccessful due to not being notified by email when the procurement reopened, which seems a poor reason for many children and families to miss out during the holidays. Especially as at the time it opened we were running 10 summer days at the last minute.

We won’t give up on running, and emails with testimonials may go a long way!

Ended off 10 days of camps with awards, rounders and football. Such a great 10 days; the power of sport shouldn’t be underestimated in what it can do for young people. They all gained confidence as the days went on and left with a core group of young people that worked hard and hopefully learned a lot. Enjoyed it so much!

Tomorrow will be even hotter than today so lots of inside time and short, sensible sports sessions on the pitches. We will be offering some water play activities in a shaded area; which no doubt may turn into a bit of a water fight. If any young people can come with a change of clothes and towel tomorrow, that would be amazing! ☀️🕶️

The difference in communication, ability and understanding from the first session 6 camps ago is night and day. They’ve all listened and now fully engaged and involved in full on tag matches! Great work.
