What an incredible finish to . Over 12 days, we filled more than 200 places and saw endless energy, smiles, and determination from our young people every single session.
Running a provision like this truly takes a village. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes to the team at Stones In The Community. It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside you, and your guidance, expertise, and goodwill meant the world to us. We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Mark Hood and Paul Stepto, your Kent County Councillors for Tonbridge for their relentless support back in May, pushing to help us overcome early hurdles so this vital SEN provision could actually happen for local families. A big shout-out as well to Clock House Farm and Maidstone United FC Raiders Disability Official for keeping our campers energised with fresh, top-quality fruit throughout the entire camp.
Thanks also to Nexus School for accommodating us. Brilliant facilities, office staff on site always there if needed for questions and a site team that is second to none.
And finally (and probably most importantly) a massive thanks to all the parents and carers that dropped every day, thanked us daily and gave positive words to both us and when needed to Kent Council. It’s been a pleasure seeing you all daily!
We are incredibly proud of what we achieved this summer, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped us deliver it. Until next time.
