📢 Pitch Maintenance & 4G Pitch Update
We've seen a number of questions regarding access to the main pitch and the new 4G pitch installation.
Following the end of the season, extensive maintenance work has been carried out on the main pitch, including reseeding and top dressing, to ensure the best possible playing surface for the future. To protect the newly sown grass and allow it to establish properly, the main pitch remains temporarily closed.
During the works, specialist equipment was stored on site, which required the main gate to be locked for safety reasons. The gate has now been reopened and all areas under the Football Club's control are accessible, apart from the main pitch itself.
As a CIC, Staplehurst Monarchs FC has taken on the full financial responsibility for maintaining the main pitch, reducing costs for local taxpayers and helping to improve facilities for the community.
Please note that the new 4G pitch installation is a Parish Council project. Any comments or enquiries regarding the development should be directed to the Parish Council.
