Most of us wear which is okay but there is a problem - your windscreen is tinted. If you wear regular (category 3) sunglasses, the screen tint will make your vision even darker and that isn't safe. The AA recommend the use of Category 2 sunglasses which, when combined with a screen tint, ad up to the regular protection you are looking for.
