🥋✨ Thank You, Yalding Primary! ✨🥋

We had an amazing time delivering an action-packed assembly at Yalding Primary School this morning! 🚀

Our focus was on building confidence, promoting anti bullying awareness, teaching the importance of self-defence, and developing both mental and physical toughness. 💪🧠

It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic students and share some of the values that martial arts teaches both on and off the mats. 👊

We love getting out into schools, connecting with local families, and inspiring the next generation. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community. ❤️

Thank you for having us, Yalding Primary we had a blast!

🥋 Side Kicks & Blitzes! ⚡

We’ve been working on counters this week on the mats, focusing on straight line timing, reactions, and finding the perfect moment to score a point on the counter!🔥

These simple but effective drills help our students develop key skills such as timing, distance management, and confidence when countering under pressure. It’s great to see everyone improving and putting the techniques into practice! 👊

We’re looking forward to taking these skills to Telford this weekend for the interclub competition and seeing all the hard work pay off. 👊🔥

🥊🔥 FIGHT TEAM SQUADS SMASHED! 🔥🥊

What an epic day with our fight team as we continue preparations for the Interclub at next week! 💪

Today was all about sharp movement, timing, and putting in the hard rounds. From technical drills to intense sparring across both points and continuous formats, the team left everything on the mats and showed exactly why they're ready for the challenge ahead. 💪

The energy, commitment, and determination on display were next level. 🚀

One more week of preparation to fine-tune the details before we head to Telford and see what this team is truly made of. Let's get it! 🥇

🥊🇬🇧 GB Squads Smashed! 🇬🇧🥊

Another epic session with working with the junior team in Light Continuous.

This session focused on: ✅ Movement ✅ Angles ✅ Distance management ✅ Giving and receiving feedback within the group

It was brilliant to see the team actively supporting each other’s development and pushing one another to improve. That positive culture and willingness to learn is exactly what will help this group prepare for the European Championships in Jesolo in a few months time. 👊🔥

Excited to continue this journey and help get these athletes competition, ready over the coming months, and looking forward to coaching across the GB 2-Day Camp in July 🙌

💥 S&C Seminar Success! 💥

We had an epic Strength & Conditioning seminar this morning with Tejin!👊

We worked through injury prevention, flexibility, core strength, explosive power, and of course, had plenty of fun along the way! 🔥

There was a lot of hard work, a lot of sweat, and no doubt everyone is going to be feeling it a little tomorrow 😅💪 But that’s all part of the journey and progress is made outside of our comfort zones.🥊

A huge thank you to Tejin for sharing his expert knowledge and helping our students become stronger, more resilient martial artists. We can’t wait to have him back at the dojo for another fantastic session! 🎉

💥 SHOUT OUT TO OUR PARENTS! 💥

Behind every confident, hardworking martial artist is a parent cheering them on. ❤️

In martial arts, kids rely on their parents for so much, bringing them to classes and competitions, helping with kit, supporting them through tough training sessions, cheering them on at gradings. When things get challenging, it’s the parents who step in to support! 👊

We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated group of parents who want the very best for their children. Your commitment, encouragement, and belief in them make a huge difference to their success both on and off the mats.

It’s also fantastic to see some of our parents stepping onto the mats themselves and training alongside their children. There’s nothing quite like leading by example! 👊😍

So here’s a massive THANK YOU to all of our kickboxing parents. Your support helps build confidence, resilience, discipline, and success in every young athlete we teach.
You are a huge part of the team, and we appreciate every single one of you. 💙

🔑🥋 FEEDBACK IS KEY! 🥋🔑

At our dojo, we encourage students to give and receive feedback regularly. Why? Because feedback is one of the most powerful tools for growth.

✅ It helps us identify strengths and areas for improvement.
✅ It teaches us to listen with an open mind.
✅ It builds confidence and communication skills.
✅ It encourages accountability and personal responsibility.
✅ It helps us learn from mistakes and turn them into opportunities.

These lessons don’t just apply on the mats, they’re valuable skills for school, work, relationships, and everyday life.
When students learn how to give constructive feedback and accept it positively, they develop resilience, self-awareness, and a growth mindset. That’s how they continue improving and become the best version of themselves.

One of the BEST things about martial arts is the friendships you build in the dojo. Through every drill, every challenge, and every achievement, our students learn to support one another, push each other to improve, and celebrate every win together. 🏆

Watching these friendships grow is one of the most rewarding parts of being a coach. Seeing our students become stronger, more confident, and better people side by side is exactly what martial arts is all about. ❤️
