Our first XI playing in Division VI and the second XI play in the 2nd XI Division VI On Sundays we play friendly matches under t

he banner of Tonbridge Exiles CC. The club boasts a thriving junior section, with Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15 sides. The Under 15 side together with Castle Hill won the Invicta Cricket League Premier League last season. Anyone interested in playing for Tonbridge CC should contact us, give us a call or simply come down to any of our matches at our Welland Road ground. Weather permitting there are matches every Saturday afternoon between the end of April and September. We have a large number of social members, many of whom are former players, friends, their families and spectators. All members and their guests are welcome to enjoy matches from the comfort of the fine pavilion and make use of the facilities.

The team is in.

Our second ever Women's match is tomorrow at home against Southborough.C.C.

Our first outing against the same opposition was such a success that we had to do it again. Caitlin Davie will once again lead the team, and in doing so will become the first captain of a Tonbridge Cricket Club Women's Team at our home ground. At the same time we will have a Girls U9s softball match going on at Streetons field next door, so it should be a busy evening at the club. If you are free, head down to catch some of the action.

It has been a while since we dropped an announcement about our PCA Legends match, but we are happy to confirm the 9th player as the one and only Tom Westley.

A stylish top order batter, Tom Westley has amassed over 21,000 professional runs in a career reaching its 20th year. His dominant leg-side game and leadership have seen him become a key pin at Essex, where he has been Club Captain since 2020, a year in which he led his side to victory in the Bob Willis Trophy. In 2017, he earned a spot in the Test side, playing against South Africa and the West Indies and making a half-century in his first Test innings. Westley became the leading run-scorer of all time in the One-Day Cup in 2025, with 4578 List A runs to his name, including nine tons and 35 half-centuries. He has recently signed a new contract at Essex which includes a well-deserved testimonial year.

The game on the 24th July is the marquee event of our 225 year celebrations. For more information, contact us via socials, email [email protected], or visit https://tcc225.eventbrite.co.uk

A second ever outing for our Women who host Southborough.C.C, and an Under 9 game takes place at the same time. We also have the joy of hosting 10 teams at the South Kent U11 Girls softball festival on Sunday afternoon.

A win and a loss last weekend for our senior sides.

The 1st XI battled back excellently with the visitors on 115 for 2. Maximus Petrie picked up the headlines with his first 5fer, which included three wickets in an over. At 108 for 1 it looked very comfortable, with Martin Snow top scoring with 40. A mini collapse saw us reduced to 146 for 6, but Max followed up his excellent bowling spell with some brutal hitting for 26*, and youngster hit 22* as the boys added an unbroken 50 partnership to get us over the line.

It was a tale of two halves for the 2nd XI as they bowled incredibly to dismiss league leaders Linton Park for only 108, but they were unable to knock off the runs. Tony Shepherd and skipper were the pick of the bowlers, and Under 15 showed the older guys how to do it as he top scored in the Tonbridge innings with 14.
