Ok Tonbridge, lets talk about the 11 to 17 year olds.

The badminton session is on Tuesdays. 18.00 till 20.00. My assistant and i can look after a maximum of 20 youngsters and we really enjoying teaching them Badminton.

I think I have 4 or 5 spaces left.

Term starts next week in the Leigh Academy sports hall on Brook Street, Tonbridge. £9 per session in half term blocks.

Beginners welcome! They just have to be willing to move a bit faster than normal.

As a bonus I will also teach your children how to put their phone away for 2 hours!

As a Badminton coach, I often have parents asking me if I do anything for the younger ones? And i would say "no sorry, its 11 and over". It would leave me feeling slightly annoyed.

So I have decided that it is about time I did something about that.

So starting this term I am quite excited to offer badminton coaching to primary school aged children.

Before they get into bad habits, I will teach them good footwork, correct grips as well as other basics. Along the way they will improve hand eye coordination and agility and confidence.

Its going to be from 18.30 to 19.30 on Wednesdays. The venue is the Leigh Academy sports hall, on Brook Street in Tonbridge.

The cost will be £7 per session (Payable in a half term block).

The first session is 2nd September.

Greetings!

We are only a couple of weeks away from the new school term and i am excited at the prospect of restarting the badminton clubs.

Juniors are on Tuesdays 6 to 8.
Intermediate Women are on Tuesdays 8 till 9.30
Under Tens is on Wednesdays 6.30 to 7.30
And social Women are on Wednesdays 7.30 to 21.30

The venue is the Leigh Academy on Brook Street in Tonbridge.

We had a fun session tonight in the womens badminton group. We still have room in the hall for any more of you if you would like to try it out next week?

Hello, I run a Badminton club for Women on wednesdays and we have some space in the hall that we would like to fill up with more of you. So if you are a woman, ask yourself these questions:
- did i used to enjoy this but have stopped playing
- would i like to be a bit fitter without really realising how
- am i the type of person who would enjoy a group which is both supportive and silly
- would i like a coach who is willing to help me at my pace.

Today is the 2nd birthday of the Wednesday night ladies Badminton club.

During the last 2 years over 80 of you have come along and had a go, and i am delighted that there are still some of you who started in that very first session.

I am looking forward to the next year and will carry on running this for you until my legs give out!

If there are any Ladies out there who would like to join in the wholesome fun, learn some skills and improve your game, I am happy to say there is some space left in the hall.

We meet at 19.30 on Wednesdays in the Leigh Academy sports hall. If you are interested, send me an email [email protected] and I will give you all the details.
