The WET MUGS golfers had Another successful golf day on Thursday at Cherry Lodge golf course in Biggin Hill despite the wet weather at times. The golfers persevered and spirits were high in the clubhouse after. This was followed by a meal at The Unicorn Pub pub & dining in Marden where we presented prizes and had a raffle in aid of Hospice in the Weald. Thanks go to The staff at the Unicorn for hosting our evening and providing us with a delicious meal.

The WET MUGS golfers had a great day at Sweetwoods golf club on Wednesday - congratulations to our new lady member, Sue Pittman, for winning the individual competition. The day was followed by an evening at The Unicorn Pub & Dining in Marden where partners joined the golfers for prizes and “fun” fines, as well as a raffle in aid of Hospice in the Weald.
Thank you to all the staff for hosting the evening and providing us with a delicious meal.

The WET MUGS season got off to a good start at Kings Hill. We had a good turnout with four of our new members welcomed. Judging by the noise at dinner there were a lot of shots to discuss in detail.
We had a great dinner at The Unicorn Pub & Dining where we presented prizes and had a raffle to raise money for Hospice in the Weald

It was great to see so many WET MUGS and partners at the Christmas Social on Sunday. Some really good Christmas jumpers and other attire including PdP’s Santa impression complete with oversized hat and grey whiskers. The 2025 Champion Golfer, Phil Scotton and Knock outwinner Neil Campbell were revealed and celebrated. Thank you to the Unicorn pub and dining who hosted our evening. The buffet was great and the company even better. 🎄

The WET MUGS golfers had a great day at Hever on Wednesday bringing our 2025 season to a close. The combination of gusty winds, perfect greens and an earlier 9 hole Scramble left all but our most resilient golfers struggling. 14 of our 24 golfers scored 24pts or less so the individual winner with 39pts on the Championship course was all the more impressive.

🥉 3rd – Adrian Rabot

Our thanks go to The Unicorn Pub & dining in Marden for hosting our celebratory evening with the usual good food and banter. Thanks also go to the generosity of our members and guests who raised over £650 for Macmillan at the event.

Wow! What an amazing event the WET MUGS golf society’s Macmillan coffee morning was!

Thank you to pub and dining for hosting the event and providing drinks, and to everyone who donated cakes and sausage rolls etc., as well tombola and raffle prizes.

As a result of everyone’s generosity we’ve raised over £2,800 so far…
