WET MUGS TOUR NEW FOREST 2026

14 of our more adventurous members played 3 rounds at Bradshaw Golf Club deep in the New Forest. Despite sharing some of the course with local ponies and needing a map to navigate the Forest course Gary Scott played consistent golf over three days to win 1st prize, with Mark Gammage runner-up.

Good weather, good accommodation and food made for an enjoyable 2026 Tour.

The WET MUGS Golf Society enjoyed a fantastic evening of fundraising at its Summer BBQ, held in the garden The Unicorn Pub & Dining on Sunday.

The event brought together members, friends and supporters for an evening of great food, live entertainment and community spirit, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Guests were treated to outstanding live music from Blues Brothers Little Brother, whose energetic performance and excellent singing kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.

The delicious barbecue was expertly prepared by The Gourmet Hog Roast Company, serving up a feast that was enjoyed by all.

Thank you to the The Unicorn Pub & Dining for generously hosting the event in its garden and helping to create such a welcoming atmosphere.

Thanks also go to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated and supported the evening, the event raised over £2,300 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The incredible total will help Macmillan continue its vital work supporting people living with cancer and their families.

Finally we would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the evening such a memorable success.

The WET MUGS season got off to a good start at Kings Hill. We had a good turnout with four of our new members welcomed. Judging by the noise at dinner there were a lot of shots to discuss in detail.
We had a great dinner at The Unicorn Pub & Dining where we presented prizes and had a raffle to raise money for Hospice in the Weald
