Two extra things to note this week! Firstly our women’s gravel ride will stop at Potarch for a swim in the Dee! And secondly we are hosting the Scottish Masters Road Race Championships in Echt, come along to support the club and racers!

🚴‍♀️45km road ride, relaxed pace with coffee and cake included at Finzean Farm Shop. Meet at 9:30 Guide Hut, Banchory
🚴‍♀️ Girls MTB session 16:30 - 17:30 and Women and Girls MTB session 17:30 - 18:30 - meet at the car park, Banchory Woodland Trails - led by DTCC female coaches

👉 Saturday 20th June
🚴‍♀️ 200km snow roads femmes - epic road ride, meet at 6.00, Bellfield car park, Banchory
🚴‍♀️ 24km gravel ride, relaxed pace, meet at 9:30 Guide Hut, Banchory with refreshments at Park shop, Drumoak
🚴‍♀️Girls jump jam 18:00, meet at the car park, Banchory Woodland Trails - led by DTCC female coaches

👉 Sunday 21st June
🚴‍♀️ 100km summer solstice gravel ride, relaxed pace with lots of options to shorten the route, meet at 7:00 Guide Hut, Banchory, cafe stops planned and option to swim in the Dee 🏊‍♀️

It’s been a busy few weeks for our youth road & track team! There was success at the Youth Track Championships at the end of May for Zara Main and Freddie Ball winning multiple events. More recently for the team at the third round of the Scottish Youth Circuit Series, Harrison Bremner came away with third in the D race, Zara Main won the A female race and both Matthew Moran and Freddie Ball made the podium in the B race! Massive well done to all our racers!

The Aberdeenshire Dirt Crit Series needs you!

Are you wondering what actually is a Dirt Crit? Will my kids like racing? Is it going to be serious? 🤔 Read on 👇

Our ethos is to start a fun, local cross country mountain bike race series for kids in Aberdeenshire and promote a life long love of bikes ♥️🚴‍♀️

⌚Friday 26th June @5-8pm
🔁It is a 400m loop through the woods on dirt, on fun entry level green/blue grade trails
🙌 10-15minutes, lap based format, great for supporting
🚵‍♀️ Separate age categories U12, U10, U8 and separate course for U6s (on the grass)
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Bring the whole family along and hang out by the loch after racing
🌮 Smoke and Soul catering van on-site
💦Have a go on the Giant Stand up paddle board - bring your wetsuits!
