Here are your provisional results for yesterdays Wessex Ridgeway Relay. Well done to you all for competing in the heat! We have had some great feedabck through out the day.

If you notice any errors in the results please let me know. But here are your results:

1st Place - Wacky Racers (Wimborne AC)
2nd Place - Spencers Harem (Dorset Doddlers)
3rd Place - On Course, Of Course - Super Wow Edition (Whichway Runners)

1st Ladies - South Molton Fillies
2nd Place - Doddler Darlings

And once again, a huge thank you to Manda Ackroyd and Jane Fowles and also Hall & Woodhouse for providing the prizes.

A massive thank you Manda Ackroyd for giving up the entire day to direct and marshal the race yesterday. Arriving in Tollard at 6.30am, and leaving Uplyme at 8.30pm, it was a long day in the heat.

Also thanks to Jane Fowles who helped marshal the road crossings at Legs 1/2 and 6/7.

Really appreciate all your help, which means I get to run on the day. Thank you.

Well it's the eve of the Wessex Ridgeway Relay 2026. Final post from me before seeing you all bright and early in Tollard Royal.

At the start, please park in the church car park. If you can arrive by 7(ish) ready for safety briefing with Amanda at 7.15.

Its going to be hot! Please bring plenty of food and water for the day. Sun cream advisable!

There isnt too many places to get refreshments on the day, there is a service station about 2 miles from leg 6/7 handover, and we have the pub at the finish line. The pub will be doing food to order, but they are happy for you to take a picnic in the garden

Hall & Woodhouse donate finish prizes to the WRR each year, and the sad thing is that I'm not quick enough to ever win any!
