🌸 COURSEWORK COMPLETE! πŸ’―πŸ“š

Today I've submitted my menopause coaching coursework for marking. πŸ™

I'm keeping everything crossed that I've passed! 🀞🧑

I've put a lot of time and effort into this course, and I've honestly learnt SO much about menopause and how it can affect women.

What's made it even more meaningful is that I'm 53 and going through menopause myself.

So this isn't just knowledge I'm learning for my clients β€” it's helped me understand my own journey too.

I'm really looking forward to using everything I've learnt to support my current and future clients, particularly women who may be struggling with changes they don't always understand.

A big thank you to Parallel Coaching Academy and Hayley Bergman for putting together such an amazing course and for all the time, knowledge and effort that has gone into teaching it. 🧑

I've really enjoyed learning and feel I've gained so much from it.

Menopause is a normal stage of life, but that doesn't mean we have to navigate it without support. 🌸

Now I just have to wait for the result! πŸ€žπŸ˜‚

🌸 WHY I'M SO PASSIONATE ABOUT MENOPAUSE SUPPORT

I'm hoping to complete my menopause coaching qualification this week, and I'm really excited to be getting closer to the finish line. πŸ“šπŸ§‘

The more I learn, the more I realise how important it is for women to understand what's happening to their bodies during this stage of life.

Menopause isn't something we should feel we have to simply "put up with".

It's a normal stage of life β€” but that doesn't mean you have to go through it without support.

I'm 53 and going through menopause myself, so this isn't just something I'm studying from a textbook.

I'm learning, experiencing it for myself, and building my knowledge so I can better support other women too.

My aim is simple:

🌸 Help women understand their bodies
πŸ’ͺ Help them stay strong
πŸ₯— Support healthy lifestyle habits
🧑 Build confidence
🎯 And remind them that they can still work towards their goals.

I'm not finished yet... but I'm getting there! 😊

Keep following along because I've got lots more menopause information to share as I continue my learning.

🌸 MENOPAUSE ISN'T SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO PUSH THROUGH.

It's something you deserve to be supported through. 🧑

That's why, as a menopause coach, I'm passionate about supporting women through this transition β€” helping you understand what's happening and giving you practical tools to look after yourself.

Menopause is a normal stage of life.
It isn't a failure, and it doesn't mean you have to give up on your goals.

I'm 53 and going through menopause myself, and I know that with the right support, you can still feel strong, healthy and confident β€” and continue working towards the things that matter to you. πŸ’ͺ

You don't have to do it alone. 🌸

🌸 MENOPAUSE & MUSCLE β€” WHY DOES STRENGTH MATTER?

As we go through perimenopause and menopause, looking after our muscles becomes increasingly important. πŸ’ͺ

Strength training can help us:

🧑 Maintain and build muscle
🧑 Support bone health
🧑 Stay strong for everyday life
🧑 Support balance and movement
🧑 Feel stronger and more confident

And you don't have to start by lifting heavy weights.

You simply start where you are and gradually build from there.

I'm 53 myself, and strength training is something I want to keep doing for many years to come.

It's never too late to start looking after your strength. 🌸

🌸 THINK YOU'RE TOO OLD TO START STRENGTH TRAINING?

You really aren't. 🧑

Whether you're in your late 30s, 40s, 50s or beyond, it's never too late to start looking after your strength.

You don't need to be fit.
You don't need to know what you're doing.
And you don't need to lift heavy weights straight away.

You simply start where you are and build gradually. πŸ’ͺ

Strength training can help support:

🧑 Muscle and strength
🧑 Bone health
🧑 Balance and everyday movement
🧑 Confidence
🧑 Healthy weight management

I'm 53 myself, and getting stronger is something I want to continue doing for many years to come.

That's why I'm so passionate about helping other women do the same.

🌸 Your age isn't an obstacle.

It's never too late to start.

🌸 MENOPAUSE & STRENGTH β€” WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?

If you're going through perimenopause or menopause, strength training is something I really believe women should consider including in their routine. πŸ’ͺ

As we get older, we naturally lose muscle mass and strength.

Strength training can help us maintain and build muscle, support our bones and make everyday activities feel easier.

Things like:

πŸ’ͺ Carrying shopping
πŸͺœ Climbing the stairs
πŸ›’ Pushing a trolley
πŸ• Going for walks
🏑 Doing everyday jobs around the home

It's not just about lifting heavier weights.

It's about keeping your body strong and capable for the years ahead.

And you don't have to be fit or experienced to start.

You can start where you are, learn the correct technique and gradually build your strength and confidence.

I'm 53 myself, and strength training is something I want to continue for many years to come. 🧑

Your age isn't a reason to stop getting stronger.

**It's a reason to start.** πŸ’ͺ🌸

As we get older, looking after our muscles becomes increasingly important. πŸ’ͺ

Protein provides the building blocks our body needs to maintain and repair muscle.

Good sources include:

πŸ₯š Eggs
🐟 Fish
πŸ— Chicken
πŸ₯› Greek yoghurt
🫘 Beans & lentils
πŸ§€ Cottage cheese

You don't need a complicated diet.

One simple thing you can try is to include a good source of protein in each of your main meals.

And remember, nutrition isn't about being perfect.

It's about making small, sustainable changes that work for you and your lifestyle. 🧑

If you're going through perimenopause or menopause, looking after your nutrition alongside strength training can be an important part of looking after your health and wellbeing.

I'll be sharing more simple menopause fitness and nutrition tips over the coming weeks. 🌸

If you're in your late 30s, 40s, 50s or beyond, strength training isn't just about looking stronger.

As we go through perimenopause and menopause, maintaining muscle and strength becomes increasingly important.

Strength training can help you:

🧑 Support bone health
🧑 Improve strength for everyday activities
🧑 Support healthy weight management
🧑 Build confidence in what your body can do

And you don't need to be fit, experienced or confident in a gym to start.

You can start exactly where you are and gradually build from there.

I'm 53 myself, and this is why I'm so passionate about helping women understand that getting older doesn't mean we have to stop getting stronger.
