Welcoming New Students
Todmorden Judo Club was established in 1987 by Sensei Sean Nuttall. Over a long career, Sensei Nuttall has achieved numerous accolades, including representing Great Britain in international Kata competitions. Most recently, he was nominated as a finalist this year for a Kata Award for his contribution to the sport.
After 31 years of passing his knowledge in Tod, Sensei Sean has decided to retire from the club and hand over the reigns to instructors Simon Keane and Manuel Mesones. Both black belts were nominated for a BJA Kata Award on 2017, Sensei Keane achieved the 3rd place as a finalist.
Todmorden Judo Club is looking forward to the future under the new administration. There are many positive changes taking place, the focus of the club is teaching Judo to the younger generations as well as self-defence for adults. The club has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, students from all skills levels are welcome.
