Really disappointing to see that someone has taken the time to vandalise our containers at TRFC 😞

Our club is run by volunteers for the benefit of local children and the wider community, so damage like this is frustrating and disheartening for everyone involved 💔

We work hard to keep The Glebe a place our players, families and supporters can be proud of ⚽️🔴⚫️ Hopefully whoever is responsible reflects on the impact this has on a grassroots club.

A huge thank you to Ian Drummond for taking the time to paint over the graffiti and help get everything looking tidy again 👏🎨

We also have future plans for new facilities at The Glebe, and we sincerely hope they will be respected and not treated in the same way as this.

🔇 Silent Support Weekend at Toddington Rovers 🔴⚪️

This weekend our teams will be taking part in Silent Support Weekend, an initiative supported by the The Football Association designed to help young players enjoy the game in the best possible environment.

The idea is simple:

⚽ Let the players play
👏 Applaud good moments
📢 Leave the coaching to the coaches

By keeping the sidelines quiet, players gain more freedom to make decisions, communicate with teammates, and build confidence on the pitch.

Grassroots football is about development, enjoyment, and learning through the game, and initiatives like this help create the right environment for every player.

Thank you to all our parents, coaches and supporters for backing the players and supporting the spirit of the game.

Our monthly committee meeting takes place this evening.

This session underpins how the club operates. The agenda includes:
• Club operations and governance
• Safeguarding and welfare updates
• Chairman, secretary and treasurer reports
• Facilities and pitch management
• Upcoming events and fundraising
• Actions and priorities for the month ahead

If any coaches, volunteers, or parents would like items raised, please send them to your team manager or message the club page before the meeting so they can be tabled.

🚨⚽ Weekend Fixture Update ⚽🚨

Following guidance from Bedfordshire FA, all grass pitches and scheduled games this weekend are CLOSED ❌🌧️

This decision has been made to mitigate pitch damage and protect the long-term condition of our playing surfaces 🛠️🌱 Keeping the pitches in good shape now helps ensure we can complete the season with minimal disruption.

We know this is disappointing for players and families 😔 however pitch protection and player safety remain the priority 🧤🦺

We will share updates on rearranged fixtures as soon as they are confirmed 📅

All U7 and U8 fixtures at The Glebe today have been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch 🌧️💧

Following an early inspection, the surface is holding significant standing water and is not safe or suitable for play. Player safety always comes first, so the decision has been made to protect the children and the pitch.

Coaches will be in touch with revised dates.
