A big shout out to the absolute legends in orange keeping everything moving out there today. 🧡

Our race marshals are standing trackside for the full day, whatever the Welsh weather decides to throw at them, keeping our riders safe, the racing running and the whole show on the road.

They’re out there in the wind, rain, sunshine and everything in between while the rest of us get to have our fun 🙌

They don’t get enough credit for what they do, so let’s give it up for the marshals! 👏🧡

Without them, there is no racing.

🌅 GOOD MORNING & WELCOME BACK TO ANGLESEY FOR DAY 2 OF R8! 🏁

We trust you survived Saturday, found your way back to your van/tent/hotel and perhaps even managed a vaguely sensible evening. 🤣

It was great to see the café busy last night, with plenty of riders, teams and supporters enjoying themselves. Now, however, the coffee needs to kick in because we've got racing to do.

The sun is up, the wind has calmed down and, according to every forecast we can find without resorting to consulting a Welsh sheep, we're apparently in for a decent day. 🤞

We've already got Emergency Practice underway, and Admin has opened early with a queue already forming. If you fancy some free shakedown time, get yourself over there and grab your pass.

Twins lead the charge at 9:30am, and then we're off into another full day of championship battles.

Keep an eye on TSL Timing and your WhatsApp notifications. If we can push ahead, we will.

A massive well done to those who got the job done yesterday and locked in their championships — Tommy Fielding, Jay Orchard-James and JAS Racing, to name just a few. 🏆

For everyone still in the fight… yesterday settled some battles, but there's plenty more unfinished business out there today. Still all to play for.

And once again, a huge thank you to our Orange Army and officials who spent yesterday doing their thing in some seriously less-than-ideal Welsh weather. 🧡

For those not lucky enough to be trackside, NLRTV will be live earlier than yesterday, bringing you all the action live and free wherever you are.

On that bombshell, I’m signing off and heading back to the van before I get myself into any more trouble. 🤣

R8 Day 1… done and done. 💪

We’re back at it from 9am tomorrow with emergency practice, followed by the UK Armed Forces Inter Services Championship Qualifying before launching head-first into the day’s race action.

And for those who couldn’t make it to Anglesey, we’ll be broadcasting from approximately 9am onwards so you can follow all the action from wherever you are.

R8 Anglesey. Matt Zschiesche has somehow managed to avoid disqualification, escape punishment AND end up on the podium. 🏆

Our delinquent paddock ginger bad boy has actually found the step of glorious success.

Has he finally seen the error of his ways?

Or is this just a temporary glitch in the system? 🤔

Either way, I’m almost excited to see what happens at the Grand Finale… 🤣
