We are the weekly unofficial park run on The Isle of Mull. Join us to run or walk 5k, you pick the pace. All ages and levels welcome!

We meet at the picnic shelter in the carpark at Aros Park, Tobermory ready to run at 9:30 each Saturday morning.

And then there were 3…………
Beautiful morning for a run but it seems there were lots of other places to be today and so there were only 3 of us to experience the joy of running around the sunshine! ☀️
Well done to those who came along and look forward to seeing everyone back in the park next Saturday!

Some days you run for enjoyment… today it was about outrunning the midges!
The little pests were biting!
Great to see everyone for our weekly tour of the lochan.
Whether you’re walking or running, everyone is welcome!

Some of us did the full 3 loops, some of us less…
Some of us ran, some of us walked…
The thing is, it’s your Saturday, it’s your parkrun, do it your way … we all just come for the company!
And great company it was too!
Saturday morning happy place! 💟

Aros park social run #78

Quieter day today at the Park, between some of us away for Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Mull Rugby Sevens!
But great to welcome Gavin to his first Aros Park parkrun, and Katya was delighted to mix parkrun with some foraging for wild garlic 🧄

As always we got out and made the most of a Saturday morning with a run in the park.
Some new faces today, welcome to El who joined us for the first time today and brought her four legged friend along too. And a very happy 8th birthday to Hamish who celebrated with a few circuits of the lochan with Dad!

Aros Park social Run #76

What a great day, and what a fantastic turn out!
We even had some new faces. 😊
16 of us got out in the sunshine this morning for a walk or a run.
There was chat, there was laughter, there was community.
No judgement, no competition, just everyone celebrating each other getting out and moving their bodies! 🥳

Such a supportive community.

Seven was the magic number this morning!

The sun may have been a bit shy about making an appearance today but that’s okay…
Winter seems to be well and truly behind us at last: the course was in excellent condition, the birds were out in force to cheer us on and we even welcomed Jamie along for the first time!

Great to see everyone, hear their news and enjoy a run or walk in the fresh air.

Aros Park social Run #74

The sun came out! ☀️
And so did the shorts and T-shirts!
A great morning for a run.
Between music festival, long marathon training runs and cycling competitions in Mallorca there were just a few at parkrun this morning but a fine few!
Well done everyone!

Aros Park social Run #73

Woohoo! 🥳
The sun made a rare appearance this morning at Aros Park and the jerseys were off for some! 👕
Great to see 7 of our regulars out on the course this morning. After all the rain this week the course was a bit muddy but they didn’t let that put them off.
If you’d like to get out and enjoy some company on a Saturday morning, whether you like a walk, or are maybe even just thinking about trying a run, come along, you’ll be very welcome.
Parkrun isn’t a race, and we all encourage and cheer each other on!
Whether you complete the full 5k or are still building yourself up, it’s the getting out there that matters!

Aros Park social Run #72

Pesky Rain! ☔️
Why couldn’t it have waited until we finished?
Not a great day for running really, a cold wind to start with and then it poured half way through and with some of our regulars away on holiday or out running longer runs for marathon training only 7 of us plus some 4 legged friends made it to Parkrun and had some fun splashing in the puddles and dodging the mud to complete our 5k.
Great to see everyone and looking forward to next week already!
