⚽ U11s LEAGUE OPENER 🐍
​Today our talented U11s kicked off their first league fixtures! Both the Cobras and the Vipers put on fantastic performances that they should be really proud of.

​A big thank you to our hosts today—Lympstone Lions for welcoming the Vipers, and Twyford Gladiators for hosting the Cobras.

​Our players showed brilliant energy, created plenty of chances, and scored some fantastic goals. There were tons of positive takeaways, alongside a clear plan for what we’ll focus on in training as we develop our team structure and positional play. With several changes to adapt to, the squads are doing an amazing job. The coaches are still ironing out a few teething issues, and we really appreciate the parents' continued support.

MOORS YOUTH U7s — SEASON OPENER!

What a way to get the new season underway!

Our Moors Youth U7s welcomed Silverton for their very first matches of the season — and what a morning of football it was!

9 mini matches. The brand-new 3v3 format. Goals galore. Non-stop action. And HUGE amounts of football fun!

The smiles, energy and enthusiasm were there from the very first whistle, with the Hurricanes and Thunderbolts getting stuck in and showing exactly what grassroots football is all about — playing, learning, enjoying and making memories!

A massive well done to every player and a big thank you to Silverton for a fantastic morning played in the right spirit. 👏

The Moors Youth U9s were back in action this weekend, travelling to take on Wellington FC Lions & Panthers in our first pre-season friendly of the new season!

And what a morning of football it was!
The cobwebs have officially been blown away, and you could hardly tell the lads had been away for the summer! 😂 They were straight back into their rhythm, putting on a fantastic performance full of energy, teamwork, attacking football and some brilliant play!

Today, Moors U11s fielded two teams for an exciting friendly round-robin with our friends at Cullompton Rangers and Culm Sampford. It was a fantastic day filled with great football and even better company—we are incredibly fortunate that our local community has so many talented young players.
​A huge thank you to Culm Sampford and Cullompton Rangers for making the event one to remember; the community spirit was in full swing. Special thanks as well to all the parents for giving up another Saturday to support the kids.
​Both of our teams, the Cobras and the Vipers, represented Moors with class and outstanding sportsmanship. They are a brilliant group, both on and off the pitch.

Today Moors Youth U9s dust off the cobwebs, dig out the boots and finally get back on the pitch! 🙌

A short trip to Somerset awaits as we take on Wellington Youth FC in our first pre-season friendly. 💪⚽

The kids are buzzing, the boots are ready, and with the weather looking spot on, everything is lining up for a fantastic morning of football! ☀️🔥

No league points, no pressure — just getting the legs moving, finding that football feeling again and, most importantly, enjoying being back together as a team! ❤️⚽

Match Update: Mambas Face Tough Derby Challenge ⚽🐍
​The Mambas—our combined side featuring players from both our Vipers and Cobras squads—were back in action for a hard-fought local derby against Twyford Spartans. It was a spirited fixture that gave us plenty of valuable moments to build on as a group.
​Our two goals came courtesy of great teamwork, capably finished off after some excellent build-up play across the pitch! 👏
​Huge credit goes to the entire team, who showed fantastic sportsmanship, composure, and work rate throughout the match. Playing high-intensity fixtures like this pushes us out of our comfort zone and provides great lessons for our ongoing development. We’ll be taking those takeaways straight onto the training pitch to work on our tactical positioning and decision-making under pressure.
​Thank you to Twyford Spartans for the game and providing a great test, and as always, a massive thank you to our parents and supporters on the sidelines for your fantastic encouragement.
