🏏 Weekend Team News 🏏

Another busy weekend of cricket coming up at HCC - we just hope the weather holds this weekend!

The 1st XI host Torquay and Kingskerswell at Knightshayes from 12.30pm (the bar will be open!), whilst the 2nd XI head off to Sandford.

The 3rd XI travel to North Molton whilst the 4th XI have a bye week in their league schedule.

On Sunday, the NDL travel to North Devon looking to move back up the league table!

A quieter weekend of cricket coming up this week!

The 1st XI travel to Bridestowe & Belstone on Saturday as they continue to look towards the top of the A Division.

The 2nd XI have a bye week following the withdrawal of Uplyme from their division at the start of the season so the 3rd XI will be playing their home match against Sandford 3s at Knightshayes!

No match at Sampford Peverell this weekend as the 4th XI make the short trip to Plymtree to play Cullompton 3s 🏏

No Sunday cricket this weekend 😔

Potentially a wet one, but let’s hope the weather holds and good luck to everyone playing this weekend! The bar will be open at Knightshayes from 12.30 on Saturday 🙌🏼

This week we celebrate ’ Week!

Heathcoat Cricket Club would not exist without the dedication and commitment from a huge number of volunteers across the club.

There are too many brilliant individuals to name but a massive thank you to our volunteer Committee, All Star Activators, Junior Coaches, parent helpers, BBQ burger flippers, groundsmen and assistants, volunteer umpires and EVERYONE else who dedicates their time to helping the club succeed.

As a small thank you - any club volunteer who heads to Knightshayes this coming Saturday can claim a free drink behind the bar!

This week we celebrate our Week 4 and Week 5 winners!

Our Week 4 winner is Fergus Anderson (Available to Sponsor), a new signing for the 2026 season! Batting at number 3 in our 3rd XI, Fergus smashed 134 off 90 balls, including 15 4s and 8 6s, in the teams 140 run win over Ipplepen 3rd XI. Well batted Fergus.

Our Week 5 winner is Dan Butler (Sponsored by NFU Mutual). Dan opened the batting in the 2nd XI’s opening match in the Corinthian Cup and smashed his way to 101 off 58 balls, in the teams 108 run victory over Alphington and Countess Wear CC!
