Tiverton BSAC

Tiverton BSAC Welcome to Tiverton Diving Club 0527, an active branch of the British Sub Aqua Club.

We are a medium sized club with diving and snorkelling members, both male and female and aged between 8 and 80 (some members are more active than others). We meet every Thursday at *8pm* at Tiverton swimming pool where we conduct our snorkelling and diving sheltered water training. We have regular social events throughout the year such as Bowling, Skittles, Beetle Drives, Garden & Beach BBQ's and

meals out. We are always accepting new members so please do not hesitate to contact us if you think you might be interested!

4-5m vis at Babbacombe, teaming with marine life: 🐠 Zebra wrasse,
🐟 Cuckoo wrasse
🦀 Edible crabs
🦞 Lobsters
🦈 A large dogfish, and
🐉 A monster conger eel!

This evening we enjoyed promoting the Tiverton BSAC club at Uff Fest - Uffculme School's annual summer fete!

We spoke to lots of potential new divers and sold raffle tickets to raise funds for the club. The prizes were a Try Dive for 2 people and a Try Snorkel for 2 people.

Ir's really important for us to continue to promote diving at a grassroots level - these youngsters will be ocean ambassadors for years to come.
At the school we spoke to many parents who 'used to dive before having kids'.
Now the 'kids' are old enough, it would be great to get more families diving together and we look forward to welcoming more members into our growing BSAC family! 💙 🌊
