Good evening everyone.

Unfortunately this was not a message I wanted to put out tonight ahead of tomorrow’s final game of the season away at AFC Chelmsley.

Once again another team forfeits the day before. This is so frustrating for me and the ladies, as all we want to do is play football, this is why we do what we do and are in a football league.
I would play teams if we only had 8 players as these ladies train hard week in week out and deserve to play games, which we were doing most of the season but the last quarter has been annoying for us as a team and club with teams forfeiting.

I stand by what I say though, we would still have won this league if we played every game and not just had them given to us. I firmly say we would have beat all the teams and now we will go up as fully deserved, CHAMPIONS!

Some may say, how is it fully deserved, I will say why. It’s fully deserved because we have beaten everyone in this league at least once, only 2 games lost were against, 1st and 2nd in the premier, in cup matches where there was not a lot between us. With 99 goals scored in all competitions and only conceded 12 I think that says it all.

Tomorrow at the club there will be a celebration of the season at 3pm, we invite everyone to come down to the club to join in with the celebrations that these ladies deserve.

Good evening,

This was not a message that I wanted to send out before the final home game this season with one away game left to complete the season, but Kewford Ladies can’t field a team for tomorrow’s game. Frustrating as it is as we had loads coming to support us as we look to take the title which now we will, but not the way we wanted it to be. I want to apologize to all those who were coming tomorrow for what could have been a fantastic afternoon, but this was totally out of our control.
I’d also like to take the opportunity as we still have one game left this season, we will be away to AFC Chelmsley on Sunday 31st, I know this is not local to us but your support has been fantastic this season, so if you can make it there for the final game of the season it’s much appreciated. After that game we will all be going back to the club for celebrations.
We go away last game looking to finish the season unbeaten and without dropping a point.
These ladies have been absolutely fantastic this season and I could not have asked for any more so hopefully we see you all next Sunday whether it will be at the game or back at Old Wulf’s Club.
