🏆 Timsbury Teams Shine in Tournament Weekend Success🏆

A huge well done to two of our sides who were in tournament action over the weekend.

First up, our U8s travelled to the Frome United tournament, where they put in a brilliant team performance. Across the day, they conceded just three goals and represented the club superbly from start to finish. Their attitude, effort and togetherness were fantastic to see, and they were a real credit to the club and their managers.

Our U12s also had a fantastic weekend, travelling to a Razor FC tournament with two Timsbury teams competing.

The Timsbury Blues battled hard through a tough draw, never stopped working for each other, and fully deserved their place in the semi-finals, narrowly missing out on a place in the final after conceding a late goal.

The Timsbury Whites made their way through the top division and reached the final, where they narrowly missed out after a brilliant run.

With 24 teams taking part, including sides from Bristol, Devizes and the surrounding areas, it was a real test of how far the team has come. Both U12 sides should be incredibly proud of their performances.

All of the teams were a true credit to their managers, and all of the players represented the club brilliantly.

Tournament season is still in full flow, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of our teams enjoying their football and doing themselves proud over the next couple of months.

🏆⚽ Timsbury U10’s National Champions at The Hawthorns ⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to our U10’s, who travelled to West Bromwich Albion’s stadium, The Hawthorns, to take part in a national Play on the Pitch tournament — and came home as Shield Winners 💙

This was a fantastic achievement against teams from across the country and caps off an incredible season for the group, following an unbeaten league campaign.

The players enjoyed a brilliant professional stadium experience, including the tunnel walkout and dressing room access, before showing real quality, teamwork and composure throughout the tournament.

After finishing 2nd in their group, the team went on to win the shield in dramatic fashion with a 7–6 penalty shootout victory.

Manager Ben Hancock said: “I could not be any prouder of this team. It shows the hard work they’ve put in over the time they’ve been together. It’s been a great season for us, and we’re really looking forward to what next season brings.”

Ben also wanted to thank his Assistant Manager, Ash Miles, for all of his help and support throughout the season, adding that “it’s also about the team around you.”

A massive well done to all of the players, coaches and families involved. What a season, what a team, and what a memory to take forward 👏💙

Our current U11’s are looking to welcome new players as they move into U12’s for the 2026/27 season.

After reaching the Area Cup Semi-Finals this year, the team are looking for strong, committed players who want to develop, compete and be part of a really positive group heading into next season 💙

Just a quick reminder ahead of our Presentation Day, today ⚽🏆

It may be worth arriving slightly before your team’s time slot to give yourself time to grab tables and chairs before things get busy 👍

There will also be a bar open throughout the day where drinks can be purchased 🍻🥤

🎟️ We’ll also be selling the last few raffle tickets before the draw which takes place during the final presentation time slot.

With an increase in games planned for next season, our U10’s Arrows are looking to strengthen the squad.

We’re currently looking for:
🧤 A goalkeeper
⚽ A few experienced outfield players

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, fun and competitive team, playing positive, attacking football.

💛🖤 Proud of Our U11’s 🖤💛

Our brilliant U11’s narrowly missed out on a place in the Area Cup Final recently — but we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.

To reach this stage of the competition is a fantastic effort and a real reflection of the hard work, commitment and teamwork shown all season.

Sometimes football doesn’t give you the result you want, but performances and progress like this are what it’s all about.

Brilliant effort from all the players and coaches — plenty more to come from this group 💪⚽

We’re looking for 1–2 strong attacking players to add to our squad.

We play positive, attacking football and create plenty of chances, so it’s a great fit for strikers and creative players who want to get on the ball and make an impact.

At Timsbury Athletic, players develop in a competitive, positive and supportive environment.

✅ Strong U11 players ready to step up will also be considered.
✅ New players are always welcomed and supported.

We’d love players to start training with us now so they can settle in ahead of the registration and transfer window.

🏆 SPRING CUP CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our incredible U9 Girls, who were outstanding this weekend and delivered a brilliant performance in the Spring Cup Final 💙⚽

This group of players, some of whom have been playing up an age group all season, have now:

✨ Won their first cup in their first competitive season
✨ Gone undefeated in their inaugural Bristol League season
✨ Shown fantastic teamwork, effort and resilience every single week

All of the girls were incredible, and this is a fantastic achievement for the team and everyone involved — including their brilliant coaches and parents, whose fantastic support has played such an important part throughout the season 💪

It’s also a real testament to our Timsbury Lionesses programme — where confidence, teamwork and enjoyment come together — and which continues to go from strength to strength 💙

The whole club is so proud of everything they have achieved 🙌

We’re now looking to build our new U7 girls team for next season.

We’re also looking for coaches who are passionate about developing the girls’ game in Timsbury — no experience needed, just enthusiasm, with full FA training and support provided.
