We are more than proud of our young yin Craig REPRESENTING Team Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - PART 2 in Hungary this weekend.

He's lifting in the Pentathlon competition as a student.

Also a special mention goes to the wee woman that gave us our own special Anne !

Mrs B popped along sporting her (daughter's) District 13 Hoodie (so we'd recognise her 😂) and gave some well needed support to the team.

It was really nice to meet Anne's mum, and at 79 I reckon she could take up bells without any hassle 💪🏻.

Today’s competition at York for the British kettlebell sport games.
First up was Allan Holburn (coach) lifting pentathlon and achieved a silver medal with 1560 points and qualifying for the world championships in Hungary in November.
Next up was Julie Holburn lifting pentathlon and achieving a gold medal with 1131 points and qualifying.
Then marathon (1hour) half sn**ch 12kg getting 991 reps and qualifying.
Shona Smart lifted on same flight achieving silver with 559 reps in one arm long cycle.
Next up was Allan Holburn lifting 20kg one arm long cycle marathon put down at 30mins as didn’t have it in him to complete another 30mins😔 Maybe he’ll try eating some food before attempting 2 hour long sets 🙈
And last but by no means least our Craig Smart lifting pentathlon and achieving silver with a fantastic 1338 points and achieved max reps for the first time in pentathlon and also qualifying as the first student lifter for team Scotland at the world championships 💪🏼.

All in all a very good day of lifting with happy faces all around.

Next stop Hungary 🇭🇺 for the IKMF worlds part 2 💪🏼
