It’s almost time to get back on the pitch - this time we’re on the road to Edinburgh! 🤩

On Sunday we face Broughton for the very first time, and we’re looking forward to the challenge! 🙌🏽

The team have learned a lot from last week’s game and have come together in training this week to make improvements ahead of Sunday! 💪🏽

It felt great to be back on the pitch as a team last Sunday - so great that we’re ready to do it again this weekend! 🤩

This Sunday we’re on the road to Edinburgh, visiting Broughton Women to face them for the first time!💪🏽

🦊 VIXENS OF THE MATCH • SHANNON, LUCY & ZOE 🦊

We had our first outing of the new season yesterday, and it’s safe to say the full team put a shift in! 💪🏽

Vixens of the Match were Shannon, Lucy and Zoe who all fought so hard for the full 80 minutes and they left absolutely everything on that pitch! 🤩

Shannon was making hit after hit, always sticking with her teammates in both attack and defence, and she still had the biggest smile on her face when the final whistle blew! 🫶🏽

Lucy played her first full 80 minutes at scrum-half since coming back from injury and absolutely smashed it! 💥

And Grangemouth chose Zoe as their Vixen of the match - anywhere you looked on the pitch she was there! Making big carries, zig-zagging her way over the gain line, as well as making countless tackles - she had a great game! 🙌🏽

Well done, everyone - same again this Sunday? ❤️‍🔥

🏉HILLFOOTS VIXENS 15 - 65 GRANGEMOUTH WOMEN🏉

It was a tough first appearance back on the pitch for the Vixens today, after a promising first half where we got the first try on the scoreboard, we took some hard hits resulting in some sore bodies and ultimately Grangemouth ran away with it! 🏉

Despite the scoreline, the Vixens played their hearts out until the last second in the first fixture of the higher league and can be very proud for sticking at it and working through the game as a team! 🫶🏽

We go again next Sunday as we take a trip through to Broughton - we hope to see you all there! 🤩
