Apologies for the lack of recent updates — the admin team clearly needs replacing.
Our final three results brought the 25/26 season to a close with two league wins. Despite strong home victories over Kings Arms and Albert’s FC, a couple of disappointing results in the weeks beforehand, combined with poor availability, ultimately proved costly. That meant the title was no longer in our hands, leaving us relying on other unlikely results to go our way. Congratulations to Kings Arms on winning the league.
Sandwiched between those league fixtures was the Trinity Trophy Final, which unfortunately ended in disappointment on all fronts. The game itself was evenly contested, but with very little creativity or attacking quality from either side, it wouldn’t have made for great viewing. A poorly defended corner saw us go 1-0 down just after the hour mark, and after throwing everything at finding an equaliser in the final 10 minutes, we were caught on the break in the dying seconds to make it 2-0.
