Our club is home to a diverse aviation community including glider pilots, competition pilots and an increasing number of power pilots who enjoy our excellent three runway airfield.

Whatever your experience level, you'll find support, friendship and plenty of opportunities to enjoy flying.

The hog is roasted, the crackling is perfectly crisp, and we’re ready to serve from 6pm at the Norfolk Gliding Club Festival of Flight! 🐷🍽️

After a day of amazing aircraft, displays, and aviation excitement, join us for a delicious hog roast freshly carved and served hot.

Tender pork, golden crackling, and plenty of flavour await as we celebrate this fantastic event together.

Lunch is in full swing and the airfield is buzzing with activity as more visitors continue to arrive. We’ve been treated to an impressive selection of classic cars, motorcycles and aircraft, creating a wonderful atmosphere for everyone enjoying the day.

Whether you’re here for the flying, the vehicles, the food or simply to enjoy the sunshine, it’s great to see so many people making the most of this fantastic event.

There’s still plenty to see and do, so if you’re planning to visit, come along and join us for an unforgettable day at the airfield! ✈️🚗🏍️

An early start this morning at Norfolk Gliding Club getting everything ready for another fantastic day at the Festival of Flight. ☀️

The Cloud 9 Kitchen team have been busy prepping two whole pigs ready for tonight’s hog roast, with a packed day of activities ahead.

Today’s agenda:

🥓 Breakfast served from 8am with award winning sausage baps and butcher’s smoked bacon rolls
🚗 Car and bike arrivals from 8am
🛍️ Trade stands throughout the day
🍔 Loaded fries and butcher’s burgers from 11.30am
🍰 Back Yard Bunch Dessert Van
🍻 Bar open from 11.30am
🎶 Sidecar Sadie and the Champagne Charlies at 5pm
🐷 Hog Roast served at 6pm
🎶 Sidecar Sadie and the Champagne Charlies return at 7.30pm

Whether you’re here for the aircraft, gliders, classic vehicles, great food or live music, it’s set to be a brilliant day at Norfolk Gliding Club.

What a fantastic evening so far at Norfolk Gliding Club! ✈️🌅

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us and shown their support. The atmosphere has been incredible, with great food, great music, and plenty of smiling faces enjoying the evening.

We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone who has helped make tonight possible. From our dedicated volunteers and organisers to everyone who has contributed behind the scenes, your support means so much.

The evening is still in full swing, so there is plenty more to enjoy. Thank you all for being part of such a special event and for supporting Norfolk Gliding Club.

Things are starting to heat up here at Norfolk Gliding Club! ☀️✈️

Gliders are arriving, visitors are starting to gather, and the airfield is coming to life as we put the final touches in place.

Everything is nearly ready, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic day of flying, great company, and plenty of activity both in the air and on the ground.
