Irby Cricket Club Friendly & welcoming community cricket club in Wirral. Fielding 4 Saturday senior teams as well as our over 40s and junior sides from u9-19!

That's not forgetting our Women's team, the Irby Valkyries and the junior girls softball and hard ball teams!

🏏 Great day of junior cricket on Sunday for Irby CC!

We had five teams in action, all proudly representing the club:
U15 Girls- Fantastic performance away in the Cheshire Girls Cup, beating Wythenshawe to secure a place in the semi-finals!
U14 Girls- Narrow defeat in a close league match against Alvanley, but a great effort all round
U13s boys- Strong win at home against Neston in the Wirral League
U11s boys- Tough game away to a strong Neston side with a strong bowling performance
U9s – Brilliant away victory against Port Sunlight
Plenty of positives across all teams- well done to every player involved!

Irby Women – First Ever Hardball League Game 🏏

A fantastic and historic day for Irby Women, securing a win against Grappenhall Women’s CC in our first ever women’s hardball league match!

A special mention to Meg, leading the side brilliantly as captain -setting the tone and guiding the team to victory with all the team playing a key part in the win.

It’s an exciting time for the club, with Irby Women & Girls now offering teams all the way from junior girls’ cricket through to a full women’s hardball side - a brilliant pathway for girls and women of all ages.

A real team performance and an amazing milestone for the club. Bring on the next game.

Sadly no game for the 4s this weekend
Sunday sees the 1s host in round 2 of the CCCL Cheshire Cup
