Dancing is back this week! Friday 31st of October for Thurso classes and Saturday 2nd November for Halkirk classes. This is your last few days to book in before the next block of dancing starts;

The LAS Dance Collective offers fully inclusive dance and movement classes for children aged three onwards to adults. Classes are based within Thurso, Caithness. Classes include ballet, cheerdance, tiny dance, Zumba and more to come.

This is your reminder that Zumba is BACK tomorrow (27.10.25) 💃🏻

The dark nights are here, which means the disco lights will be in full effect 🤣 Everyone welcome, whether you’re a Zumba regular, not been in a whiley or never been to a Zumba class before!

Thank you so much to all the fantastic dancers that came to our Day of Dance! It was lovely to see some of my dancers and some new faces too. What stars they all are ⭐️

🩵 OCT-DEC TERM CLASS BOOKING 🤍

Classes for the October-December term are now available to book! You will notice
that I’ve added a few new classes to the timetable….🤩

SUNDAY CHEERDANCE AND BALLET 🩰

LYRICAL 🎶

CHEER STUNT AND TUMBLE CLASS 🤸‍♀️

I’ve tried to accommodate more children by adding some more classes on a Sunday afternoon, which will be in the Ross Institute in Halkirk. The Sunday dance sessions will be a trial until December depending on interest.

All dance classes can be booked via the ClassForKids site. Kids dance classes are booked in termly blocks. Even if your child attended classes last term, you will have to re-book their place this term. By following the link below, scanning the QR code, or by clicking the “Sign Up” icon at the top of this page, you can get more information on each class and book any class of your fancy;

Weekly classes re-start on Friday the 31st of October and Sunday the 2nd of November. All Friday classes will be in the Royal British Legion, Thurso and all Sunday classes will be in the Ross Institute, Halkirk.

Please note there will be NO SUNDAY CLASSES on the 9th of November and NO FRIDAY CLASSES on the 14th of November due to venue availability. These dates are not included in the termly booking.

We have a “Day of Dance” during the school holidays, offering taster one off classes in the different styles of dance we offer - perfect if you want a wee try before you commit to classes, or if you just want to try something new in the holidays!

🪩 NO ZUMBA OVER THE OCTOBER HOLS🪩

A wee reminder that is no Zumba for the next two Mondays over the October holidays (13th and 20th of October).

If you need your Zumba fix over the holidays, head over to Diane in Wick. Wednesday, Wick Assembly Rooms, 7.30-8.30 🤍

Another thank you to Rachel for all your graphic design advice and to Charly for being a technical expert! It’s great having talented friends!! 🤣

Please note that LAS Dance Collective clothing is NOT compulsory to attend classes, it can be purchased from the Highland Workwear website only if you wish. You can come to class in whatever you are comfy in and can move in, there is no official “uniform”. As long as you come as you and are happy.
