Wow, what an incredible day our gymnasts had at the Garioch Glitterball yesterday! A small but mighty group of our competitive girls headed off to Inverurie at the weekend.
Many thanks to Garioch Gymnastics Club for hosting such a lovely, friendly event - it was a fantastic day for everyone involved.
Everyone, apart from our youngest team placed in the top 6 in at least one event, and although our little t***s finished just outside the placings, Isla B, Amelia and Rosie showed us just how much they have improved, performing beautiful vaults and lovely clean and confident floor routines.
We loved that, as well as the overall medals being awarded, gymnasts who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd also received a glittery tiara! A huge well done to Isla S, Adele and Sophie, who all earned themselves one ๐Ÿ‘‘
There was also an award for the Overall Club, and we were delighted to finish in 4th place.
This was our first time attending this competition, and it certainly wonโ€™t be our last.
Well done, girls - we are incredibly proud of you all! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค

Wowโ€ฆ what a first night!
Our hearts were bursting with pride after last night's performance. From our youngest performer at only 2 years old through to our older gymnasts who are 16, every single one of our gymnasts stepped onto that stage and gave it their all, showing incredible courage, determination and talent. They truly were amazing.
The smiles, the nerves, the excitement and the hard work that has gone into getting here all shone through in their performances. Watching them support one another and shine under the lights was incredibly special.
The coaching team couldn't be prouder, and we hope all the family and friends watching felt as inspired and emotional as we did. Thank you for cheering them on every step of the way.
Our show is about so much more than routines - it was about confidence, teamwork and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Well done, gymnasts.
You were simply outstanding ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค

Our busy week is set to continue as our gymnasts take to the stage this Thursday and Friday evening for this year's show, Elements.
Inspired by the four elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water - as well as the natural world around us, the show promises two fantastic nights of gymnastics and entertainment.
From our youngest Beginners to our experienced Advanced and Competition gymnasts, every performer has been working incredibly hard over the past six weeks to bring this production to life.
Featuring routines packed with tumbling, balances, dance and impressive gymnastics skills, "Elements" showcases the dedication, talent and teamwork of all our gymnasts.
We can't wait to share our show with everyone and hope our audience enjoys watching it as much as we've enjoyed creating it ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฌ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฆ

How amazing do our girls look in our new competition kit? Weโ€™ve gone very sparkly, and our supplier Stag Leotards perfectly matched our signature green ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ–ค
What better time to unveil our new sparkly, competition leotards - than at a competition appropriately named the "Garioch Glitterball".
A small group from our competition squad are heading away this weekend to represent the club once again.
This is a first for our club, as weโ€™ve never attended this competition before, and weโ€™re excited to see what it brings. It promises to be a fun and worthwhile experience, and a great opportunity to compete against some new clubs.
Taking part in new competitions helps us measure how well our gymnasts are progressing, while also ensuring weโ€™re training effectively and providing the very best coaching and opportunities for our girls.

What a busy week we have coming up at CGC!
Today, three of our Level 2 coaches were assessed in some Level 3 coaching modules.
We are incredibly proud of Caron, Gillian and Kyla, who all passed with flying colours!
This is a fantastic achievement for all three coaches, and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment they have put into their development. Their efforts have certainly paid off, and we couldnโ€™t be prouder.
A huge thank you also goes to our gymnasts Sophie, Merryn, Adele, Phoebe, Lily, Lauryn and Sadie who travelled to Wick and assisted the coaches throughout their assessments. Your support was greatly appreciated and played an important part in the dayโ€™s success.
Congratulations to everyone involved - a brilliant achievement for Team CGC ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค
