A huge well done to some of our fantastic young players and coaches who gave up their time this morning to help keep Thundersley Common clean and tidy.

Together they collected two full bags of litter, helping to make our local community a cleaner, safer place for everyone to enjoy.

We are incredibly proud to see our players showing that being part of Thundersley Rovers is about more than just football, it’s about respect, teamwork and giving something back to the community.

Every journey starts with a first step.

Yesterday we welcomed our very first Soccability participant, and he did an amazing job! We can’t wait to welcome more people over the coming weeks.

Our FREE Soccability sessions take place every Saturday at 9:30am on Thundersley Common. Whether you are looking to play football, keep active, build confidence or simply meet new people, everyone is welcome.

And as an added bonus, Gill will have the café open serving her excellent bacon sandwiches! ⚽🥓

Come along and give it a try – we would love to see you there.

Rovers Soccability

We are delighted to be launching the club’s first Rovers Soccability sessions.

Rovers Soccability is an inclusive football programme for people with disabilities, additional needs or long-term health conditions, providing a fun, supportive environment to enjoy football, make friends and stay active.

Our initial programme is aimed at adults aged 16+, with plans already underway to introduce junior sessions for under-16s in the near future.

The sessions are completely free and will begin on Saturday 4th July at 9:30am at Thundersley Common. They are open to people of all abilities.

Looking ahead, our ambition is to establish a Rovers Soccability team that can participate in friendly and competitive matches.
