Our club lottery is live, and the top prize is £25,000 tax-free.

£10 a month gets you 54 prizes to play for every month, a free Gourmet Society membership, and the knowledge that £6 of every £10 comes straight back to the club.

Every ticket takes us closer to a 5G pitch in Thrapston. That means every team, Men’s, Women’s and Youth, training and playing at home whatever the weather, on a facility the whole town can use.

A massive three points on the road! 💙⚽️

Going into yesterday’s game, we knew the condition of the pitch was going to play a huge part. We gave the lads a clear game plan beforehand — keep it simple, adapt to the conditions, compete for everything and play to our strengths.

And they absolutely nailed it. 👏

From the first whistle to the last, every single player was brilliant. The work rate, discipline, communication and togetherness were exactly what we asked for.

⚽ 6’ — Marcus Dowman
A fantastic start as Marcus finished to give us the lead, with Daniel Youngman providing the assist.

From there, the lads showed tremendous character. Milton pushed, but we defended brilliantly, worked hard for each other and refused to give them a way back into the game.

🧤 Clean sheet.
⚔️ Battled for every ball.
💙 Played for each other.
🏆 Three points.

A special mention to Alantas Ardavicius, who was deservedly named Player of the Match — but honestly, today was a proper TEAM performance. 👏

Every player who stepped onto that pitch played their part, including those who came off the bench.

The game plan was set. The lads delivered.

A 5th away game in a row saw the lads travel to Northampton, a little light on numbers and experience with 9 of the squad aged just 16 or 17.

But a solid start to the game, having weathered some early pressure - saw us take the lead. Rob’s long clearance was completely misjudged by the centre back, and Hayden raced through, before calmly finishing to score his first goal in men’s football (13 mins). A great moment for the 16 year old.

We had several more chances to extend the lead as confidence grew, only for sloppy marking at a set piece leading to the hosts equalising. 1-1 at the break and a position the lads were confident they could build on. However credit to the hosts who dominated the early stages of the 2nd half and thoroughly deserving to run out 4-1 winners in the end.

Special mentions for Reon at the back who put in a great performance, and also Frank in central midfield who covered so much ground.

But MOTM has to go to Rob, not only for his assist but also some crucial saves that kept us in the game at times.

Another away game for Thrapston, this time making the trip to Heyford.

Both teams started well, but Thrapston soon began to take control, winning the second balls and creating some good chances. Jamie went close twice, while Billy also had a great chance from a corner.

On 30 minutes, some great pressing from Danny saw him win the ball back before playing Jamie through, who finished well to score his first of the season! ⚽️

Heyford came out strongly after the break and found an early equaliser to make it 1-1.

The rest of the game was evenly matched, with both sides having chances to take all three points, but neither could find the winner.

A good point on the road and we look forward to welcoming Heyford to The Lane in a few weeks!

Another away day for Thrapston at probably the best ground we’ll visit this season.

Thrapston played some really good football, defended well and created chances through Caller, Carlos and Billy. Carlos, Elliot and Caleb were excellent in midfield, giving Harborough little chance to get their football going.

Much the same second half, with Caller and Jamie Day both having great chances to put us ahead.

Harborough eventually took the lead with a long-range effort before making it 2–0 on the counter, with a questionable foul in midfield in the build-up. A diagonal ball, good touch and finish made it 3–0 late on.

A harsh scoreline after another positive performance – we just need to find that goal.

An entertaining 9-goal thriller in the rain! The lads made the long trip over to Crick, and despite making a strong start with some lovely football played, found themselves 3-0 down after 1/2 an hour. Heads didn’t drop and Lewis pulled a goal back (34) with a nice strike from the edge of the box.

There was great positivity in the dressing room at HT, with the lads knowing they were still in the game despite the score line.

What a start to the 2nd half from the lads! 2 quick goals brought things level as the opposition didn’t know what had hit them. From kick off, Josh’s lovely through ball was fumbled by the keeper, and Reon showed a calmness to slot home for his first ever goal for the club (46)! A great moment for him and the lads.

It was 3-3 just 1 minute later with Josh’s free kick again being fumbled by the keeper with the Ref judging the ball had already crossed the line, before Frank smashed it home to make sure.

At that stage it felt like there would be only 1 winner, but the hosts rallied, and as legs tired, they managed to get 3 more goals to give the score line an undeserved look. The lads kept playing though and had plenty of chances to score themselves, but it wasn’t to be.

We take it on the chin, take the positives and move onto the next one.

MOTM was Josh who worked tirelessly in the midfield, not only getting 2 assists and a goal - but leading and marshalling the younger lads around him throughout the game A real captain’s performance.

It’s a Bank Holiday weekend ahead and with the rain coming down this morning, it’s shaping up to be a Saturday stormer! ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚽️ ⚽️

This Saturday afternoon we see the First Team face Harborough Town Development, while the Development Team are westbound to go head to head with Crick Athletic- both games kicking off at 2.30pm

❌ No Reserves fixture this weekend. ❌
