CHAMPIONS!!!! 🏆

What a day, what a match and what a win for the brilliant Avengers today against Rushden FC.

In a match of few clear chances, it was Harry Langin who scored a worldie to give us the lead, before Rushden hit back with 10 minutes remaining.
A massive shout out to Ivy in goal, who made a couple of brilliant saves in normal time to keep Rushden at bay 👏🧤

1-1 it finished, so it went to penalties 😬

Up stepped Lango, Brooklyn, Theo, and then Boston to score all their Pens to give us the win, after Ivy had saved an earlier penalty to get us in front 💪🏆

Player Of The Match went to Ivy in goal, who got to collect her trophy in front of all the players and parents who came to watch 👏

We couldn't be prouder of all the players for the dedication they have put in this season, and they thoroughly deserved this to end the campaign on a high 💙💛

Another game in glorious conditions this morning for The Avengers vs Barton Panthers.

Some really good football all round and top saves by the keepers 🧤

Lots to choose from for potm today, but the award went to Lango for his non stop effort and brilliant hold up play up front 🏆⚽️

The Avengers were back in action after a 2 week rest, and what better way to get back playing than in a local derby game against Thrapston Owls 💪

As it always is against the Owls, it was a very evenly contested game, with chances coming few and far between.

Every player worked their socks of today, but none more so than Harry Morgan, who played most of the game in an unfamiliar central midfield role, and deservedly won the player of the match award 👏 🏆

And finally, a very happy mothers days to all of our mums ❤️
