A lovely round off to the season for the women’s side tonight as we hosted Sandford Cricket Club for a friendly 🏏

It was nice to welcome some new and returning players for a game played in awesome spirit with some great skills on show!
We are looking forward to heading to Creedy Park next season for a game or two 🙌

It was also Lucy Harget’s last game as she heads off to Cardiff in September. She bagged 3 wickets and a trio of catches, just to remind us how much she’ll be missed next season! Go well Lucy, we look forward to your visits back 🤞

DCL Round Up:

2️⃣ The 2s lost to Newton Tracey in the top of the table clash. The visitors posted 232-9, 3 for Rahmani and 2 each for Fenner & Risdon. We could only reach 180 in response, I. Daldorph 43, Khogiani 32, Pitt 30. The 2s are now 10 points behind Newton going into the final round.

1️⃣ The 1s were on the wrong side of yet another tight one, this time at Budleigh Salteron. We posted 142 in difficult conditions - Vukusic top scoring with 29. With George Daldorph resting, a superb effort in the field brought about 9 wickets before the hosts hit the winning runs. Highlights including veterans Yelverton & Slaviero bowling 10 overs right through, a good opening spell from teenager Laubscher & a couple of wickets for Bobby Heard under pressure at the death.
